If the HS is there for us to interpret scripture, then how come we all don't interpret the same way?

If the Holy Spirit leads denominations rather than Christians, then why don't all denominations agree? OR does He ONLY lead your particular specific singular denomination but no other? Why/why not? Can other denominations self claim the same or only your denomination?

Look, Bene, there is obviously no way to make clear what I think and believe. YOu have formed your opinion already, and no matter what I say, you are going to ignore it. Depends on what you look at as the church.. I see the Church as the bride of Christ. Not an organization that tells me what I should believe to be saved but a body that takes the word of God to heart and lives to please His Lord and Maker..

I was making a point because you claimed that the "Catholic Church" (not Roman Catholic) was not in Scripture...

So you say there is no orginaztion in the Church, and that you should obey no one besides Christ? How about this?

Melody, we all can do that and God indeed speaks to us through scripture.

but none of us can be the author of what he is saying to us.

All I'm saying is truth is not relative, it's objective and if we have a bunch of Christians all reading the same book who have all been baptized and who all have the HS how can we come up with such drastically different conclusions?

Did Jesus not say continue in My word and Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free? Did He lie? I don't think so..

It's not my claim, it's yours, that the 'bible only' is where it's all at, so YOU tell me if I have a bible and the HS and you have a bible and the HS, who's right and how do we know who's right?

You know the answer to that is NO, why are you all having such a hard time interpreting what I'm saying?

We all have the HS indwelling iwho leads us to truth but that does not mean we all have authority to interpret truth and you know it.

When I quoted you, you said that you believe (RCC) that the HS was given to one person at a time, and that's the Popes..did you not? After I quoted you, I saw that you changed what you said, or tried to change it in other posts.

UUUHH and why would you disgree to this? This is scripture taught by Paul. Christ in us the Hope of Glory.. Jesus even said we were to be born of the Spirit. So what do you disagree about this?

Okay and this says what.. That I am to run to the Catholic Church? I have a Pastor that shepherds His flock I go to. If He started to preach contrary to the word of God would I stick around.. Heck no.. I would run as fast as my little feet would allow me to.. Back to a place that preaches and teaches scripture alone..

amazing how some questions go unanswered. I asked a while ago about the 1+billion catholics and EO's if every single one of them went to church and attended mass every single time....no answer to that yet...SO what if there is over a billion of that denomination. doesn't make it right still...IF it did..me sitting in my garage would make me a car...

Answer would be no...but what does that have to do with what the true faith is?

Do all Protestants go to Church, or where ever they go everytime?

My FULL, UNseparated, EQUAL sister in Christ, I'm NOT the one with the DOGMAS of the Immaculate Conception, the Perpetual Virginity of Mary, the Assumption of Mary - I'm NOT the one saying I have the authority to declare these things dogmaticly true, I"m not the one saying that rejecting these teachings of the CC makes one a heretic and his/her salvation is very much in question, I'm not the one saying these things must be accepted and cannot be questioned. You seem to have the situation reversed.

The Holy Spirit is our seal.. The Holy Spirit,God the Father and Christ are all one are they not? The Godhead... Therefore when the Holy Spirit dwells in us is He not sent from our Father? Because we believe in the Son and what He has done for us? Christ in us the hope of Glory?

The traditions that Paul speaks of Is not what the cc teaches today. Sorry.. For Paul either spoke it or wrote it. I am sure He didn't speak differently that He wrote. Being that He spoke from the Power of the Holy Spirit..And being that the Holy Spirit is God and being that God is not a man that He should lie nor repent..

If by CC you mean Roman Catholic, I can agree.

But how do you know what he said? It's not that he spoke differently then what he wrote, it's thathe said things he didn't write..
