Tradition and scripture are one in the same. What do you think scripture even is? The written down words of the apostles. It is what of Tradition that was written down.

How do you even think the bishops was able to canonized the books 400 years later?

They already had the deposit of faith because Jesus left it with them and they kept it preserved and passed it down and when it came to choosing the books for the canon, they choose them based on the deposit of faith they already had since Jesus went up.

So we read the bible and believe it just because we want to disagree with the CC? He was asking what people were saying about Him was He not? Then He asked Peter who do you say that I am. Peter through the revelation of God said You are the Christ the Messiah. Then Jesus tells Him that the Father had revealed this to Him. Then He tells Him you are Petros and upon this Petra I will build my church. There is different word used to show us that it was not Peter Himself Jesus was referring to. This is where I get my conclusion. And this is what the Church is built on that Jesus is the Christ the Messiah and in believing this many come to be saved and added to His church.

Peter cannot save any one. How can God build His church on a man that has no saving power in Him? It is only through Christ that man can be saved. It is the Father that chooses us. We cannot even come to Christ unless the Father Draws us. Peter would not even had known who Christ was if the Father had not revealed it to Peter. SO I will ask this. Reduced her? How so. It is not what We want her to be but what Scripture tells us about her. Somehow this gentle humble and obedient woman of God got exhaulted where she wasn't suppose to be. Scripture says very little about Mary. She is last heard of in Acts.
