Is the Holy Spirit an inanimate object? No. He is our teacher. God teached us His word.
IAA, the bible is a object. It's words on a page... It is not God Himself but the lower case word of God. Not the uppercase Word of God that is God incarnate.

The bible can not save a person, the message when it is received by a person who implements it in his own life is what saves, but not because of the bible, because of the words... but because Jesus Christ came and gave his life for the world. Not because he left a book behind.

The bible is just divine revelation written on a page that he inspired someone to write down.

In no way are we to believe the bible is alive and breathing nor are we to worship it as if it were a god or God Himself.

The Holy Spirit is not the bible either, He is a person, the third divine person of the Trinity and along with the Father and the Son, He is who is to be worshipped and glorified. Not the bible.

and He has spoken through the Prophets, IAA. Not everyone just because they so happen to own a bible.

If you have the bible and you read it, God will speak to you if you open your heart to him, but not in the sense that he is giving YOU the correct interpretation that only you have.

There are also other spirits who may try to speak to you too and there is your own human spirit too WHEN you try to self interpret. We are not to self interpret but just open our hearts to God who wants to fill us with his presence, not teach us doctrine, that is what he gave us His Church to do.

Paul said not to trust ourselves but to test the spirits. So you tell me, how does one test? How do they go about discerning who has been Holy Spirit led, or who is being deceived by a bad spirit or who is going by their own human spirit/intellect?

Tell me, if there is no objective light we are to read the bible in, how do we know what spirit is leading us to interpret what we do?

We have a few ppl here who read different things out of the same passages all who claim they are Spirit led.

So obviously not all of us are Spirit led if we see different things.

But all of us sure doggone thinks we are being led by the Spirit of God.

So you tell me, if this is God's will for us all to just read the bible, no Church, just the bible and come to the one and only Truth of God, how do we discern if we are indeed getting it right?

It is His Holy Spirit that teaches us the truth. Jesus did not come to give us a church. Jesus came to save those whom are lost. And in being saved God adds them to His body. The church, The bride. For God saves individual people. We are to be one with Christ through the Holy Spirit that God places in us as His deposit on His people. Jesus came to fulfill the Old covenant and pour out His blood for a new convenant. And that those who come to Him will be saved. Part of His body. We do not see scripture tell us that Jesus came to build a church. But to save those whom are lost. We see in scripture that it is the Holy Spirit and the written word of God that is our teacher.
The Holy Spirit leads His Church to and in all doctrinal truth.

The Holy Spirit teaches us how to listen to the truth and how to apply it to our own life.

the Holy Spirit sanctifies us when we obey the truth.

But the Holy Spirit is not a personal doctrinal instructor to everyone who has a bible.

If this were so, we'd all believe the same exact thing.

And we don't.

.
He is the fundamental doctrinal instructor, and with out him, the word of our Creator will sound like like speaking in a different tongue... Afterall he says "my sheep hear my voice" Its reasoning for His parables.

Yes..we do...
Here again we will disagree because it is on the Words of Peter that Jesus builds His church. :) And these words of Peter is what is to be belived for all to be saved. God adds to His church or the bride of Christ daily. Jesus came to save the Lost. He came to give His life for a ransom for Many. This is why Christ came. It is in believing this that people come to be a part of the Body of Christ. The Scriptures are active and they are alive. The bible tells us this. It is not just a bunch of words written for Historical stories. It is the active word of God in the life of His people. The Holy Spirit is our teacher of Gods words. The Holy Spirit works in all of Gods people. As we search the scriptures and read the scriptures Gods Spirit teaches us what He means. We do not need men to teach us what God is saying. For those whom have the Holy Spirit have the very God that wrote the scriptures to teach Him what He is saying. God says if any man lacks wisdom to ask and He will freely Give it to us.

Thats because some 'leaders' taught wrong things and they must of necessity be believed, dare I say.
Prove they taught us wrongly and prove you have the right interpretation.

And I will be expecting this proof cuz you make claims so you should have the proof.

Newer, loosely translated interpretation, that is the invention of anti Catholics for the specific purpose of disagreeing with the Catholic Church.

The proof of this is, dozens of prominent mainstream orthodox Protestant theologians and scholars blatantly disagree with this lose translation and has said this is only so, in order to disagree with the Catholic Church.

And you think this because why?

The scripture says no such thing.

So we read the bible and believe it just because we want to disagree with the CC? He was asking what people were saying about Him was He not? Then He asked Peter who do you say that I am. Peter through the revelation of God said You are the Christ the Messiah. Then Jesus tells Him that the Father had revealed this to Him. Then He tells Him you are Petros and upon this Petra I will build my church. There is different word used to show us that it was not Peter Himself Jesus was referring to. This is where I get my conclusion. And this is what the Church is built on that Jesus is the Christ the Messiah and in believing this many come to be saved and added to His church.

Peter cannot save any one. How can God build His church on a man that has no saving power in Him? It is only through Christ that man can be saved. It is the Father that chooses us. We cannot even come to Christ unless the Father Draws us. Peter would not even had known who Christ was if the Father had not revealed it to Peter. SO I will ask this. How can God build a church on a human man that has no power to save?
