Nah, you obviously failed Date Setting 101. You don't want 1-13-14, you want 12-13-14. Move your big End Times event to December, and then when it doesn't make just say it really did happen but only the really, really spiritual can discern it.So that's what January 13, 2014 ?
Everyone is getting it wrong! The more spiritual among us know that in the Hebrew calendar they add a "leap month" every so often (i.e., "We-Adar"). It turns out that 2013 is one of those years! So this year there will actually be a date of 13/13/13. You should each "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2Ti 2:15, KJV of course). With enough study, you can easily figure out the dates.Has anyone called 13/13/13 yet? If not then I'm staking my territory right now! Style-biters beware!

You're right, of course. But Jesus only said know one knows the day or the hour - we can still pinpoint the date to a mishvak +/- a few. That's close enough.i think you'll find that we-adar can only be truly established by having the abib barley abib, which usually occurs on tishri, but if the abib is delayed then there is a donad skip, which means there are two leap months, so your calculation for gonad will be out by several mishvaks.
we must all adjust our hard dates for the rapture accordingly.

Ah yeah... that 360 day year compensation. Nevermind then - I'll have to fire up the call centers and get out the construction paper! It's on!Everyone is getting it wrong! Sorry, Eclipse. I forgot to add ato my post. (I don't believe in date setting.)
We need to band together and convince the staff that these charlatans who go around setting dates on the forum are major violators and should be banned.
And so far He's the only one who has gotten them right.

God bases the biblical calendar on agriculture and the new moon in Jerusalem.
.....................
but we ought to know which "day and hour", and not just believe the diaspora calendar,
because it is wrong most of the time.
or that day might come upon us as a thief

it was not just a "neat time" when He fulfilled Passover, and Firstfruits, and Unleavened Bread and Shavu'ot all to the exact day and hour???
God wants the whole world to know his Son and what he went through for them, so that they might be reconciled to the Father.
God wants those he created to know their Creator.
God wants his name to be honoured and glorified, and it will be.
God wants his Son to return to this earth in glory.
With all that in mind, don't you think that God is more likely to act at the best time, when the time is right, when everyone has had the best chance of hearing about him and accepting him; rather than looking down and thinking "oh, the human calendar says 12/12/12, or 4/4/14, wouldn't that be a neat time to return?"
yes OUR calendar is.Our calendar is a manmade thing, a human invention and has changed at least once over the years - in the 1750s when we "lost" 11 days.
well, that's my point.God acts in his own time.
