2. The seriousness of this false prophecy
Do you realise that false prophets were executed under Old Testament law? You said the producers of these video's had special insight from the Holy Spirit. That's equivalent to saying "God said this would happen..."

Under the Old Covenant judges would have declared these people False Prophets, and taken them outside, and had the people throw rocks at them until their skulls were cracked like over-ripe melons, blood spurted out of their limbs and necks, and they fell to the ground dead.


False Prophecy is very, very serious in the bible. Doesn't it now alarm you that you were associated with this, and YOU were in effect spreading darkness and deception and making Christ INCREDIBLE, as in utterly non-credible, to many readers? Doesn't it make you want to run a million miles from this rubbish? To re-evaluate their whole theological approach? To ask whether maybe Revelation is not a timetable of the 'Last Days' (that we've been in for 2000 years since Acts 2 and Hebrews 1), and wonder whether, instead, Revelation is actually a generalised sermon to all the church through all ages?

Yet, despite the fact that they claimed the Holy Spirit told them the AoD was on March 22nd, you defend the movies as 'profound' but "not entirely correct"?

Under such circumstances I can really see your defence really working. "Oh, but I made some profound points, even if I was not entirely correct!"

"Not entirely correct" is a death sentence under Old Testament Law. God takes being misrepresented SERIOUSLY!

Bethwhite got plenty of brotherly admonishment in this thread. She refused to accept it.

What was particularly grievous was that her error was not merely one of bad hermeneutics, but was ultimately an error based in bigotry and nationalistic idolatry. There wasn't just one thing wrong there.

yes forgiveness is very important, all the gifts are....
as 1Cor13 says,

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge;and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

so even if you DO know prophesy for truth, charity is more important.
but that does not mean that false prophesy is acceptable,

And Christ said something about putting "new wine into old bottles." I wonder how some of these fine Christians will react to the two witnesses when they begin teaching.

So you are presuming you will know who they are and when they have started teaching. You don't even like the book of Revelation. Why do you think the tribulation started on March 22nd and not some time ago? Is it because of the Daniel's Timeline thing? He starts with incorrect information which invalidates his outcome.
