Many become "Christians" because of "religious flattery"!

Daniel 11:34....
..." now when they fall they shall be aided (supported) with a little help (by a few...in other words only a few will stand and die for the truth )

...but many shall join with them by intrigue ( flattery, hypocracy)
...in other words, the majority , the many, will join a hypocritical religious "christianity" ...for the sake of self-flattery and religious intrigue...as a religion of one's self religious freedom.

These will speak of a Christ redefined to their own image of righteousness.
These will live by their WAY of life, within which Christ and God are a religion amongst religions.
These will live by a way that is right in their own eyes, using Christ and God for their own self-righteousness.
These will live by a way which believes in freedom of self-rights, freedom of religion, equality of self-rights, universal values, and a generic "god".

Those that stand for the One True Way fo Life, for Christ, will suffer (fall to) persecution and death, which will refine them, purge them, and make them white (baptism of fire)....those that do not compromise in their faith and love will be made white in the eyes of God.

Many people are part of "the Christian religion" as their personal faith.
But they live their lives in love for another way of life which they place above the WAY of the True God.
They serve their way of life before the true way... and believing that this is just and righteous in the eyes of God.

...and man says that the way of God is not right
...and man says that his way, instead, is right...and God is a religion.

Am Catholic and that seems to put a target on me both here and in the real world from other Christians, so am not sure what is "flattering" about my being Catholic in that regard at least. I do not often feel flattered.

And on the other hand am not sure how self-flattery and hypocrisy should be seen as something unique to organized religions rather than just a common human condition I suspect none of us are immune to.

Oh please. Being part of the largest church in the world and one that constantly teaches its people about how it is the only true church, the only church founded by Jesus, the only church that never changes, the only church that has been around for 2000 years, the only church that has real ministers, real sacraments, etc. puts you at a disadvantage? :p

Claiming to be targeted is just another way of boasting.

I think this says it all right here. By faith in Him we are saved and to love God and to love one another as ourselves, are the two greatest commandments. It's everything! It's when we substitute faith and love, with the letter of the law we are free from, that it becomes about pleasing ones self or "appearing" righteous in the eyes of others, based on religion.
