Based on your posts concerning Islam and Muslims, yeah I took a pretty good guess at it.

Obviously Muslims have a right not to be stabbed in New York, but wouldn't it be better of they chose not to exercise that right and allowed themselves to be stabbed? The wounds from 9/11 are still too fresh. Allowing themselves to be stabbed is the only way for Muslims to demonstrate a genuine desire to repair the damage done by 9/11 and build bridges.Man Held in Anti-Muslim Stabbing of Cabby in New York - NYTimes.com
Wonder if this has to do with growing hatred towards Muslims?
This man should be charged with a hate crime and attempted murder and I don't care if he was drunk or not. Luckily for this racist, Shari'a is not the law of the land in the United States.![]()
Victim in cab driver attack to meet with Mayor Michael Bloomberg | 7online.com"This attack runs counter to everything that New Yorkers believe, no matter what God we may pray to," Bloomberg said.
If only everyone on both sides would stop overreacting...
Hahahahaha! Yea, cuz then he'd get beheaded. Thanks for the joke. By the way, heard the attack was a part of some liberal group. Guess we can't blame Fox News and Glenn Beck this time. Such a pity. Just a regular old nutcase who we can't tie to em! Darnit!
The attack wasn't part of any group, it was an individual. You also realise that this happened in the UK, so Fox News is irrelevant, right? Not everything is directly connected to American politics.

Where did you hear that? All reports said he was alone in the cab. As for "regular old nutcase" - what a charming and sympathetic way to describe mental illness!Hahahahaha! It was so much easier, when it was just some crazy racist that did this. Is there a link to this? Photo-journalist that got to close to the action? It sounds like he has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. His friends and acquaintances say that it is not like him. He did just get back from being in Afghanistan filming a buddy soldier in combat.
How horrible for the Bangladeshi cab driver.

I believe the criminal act should be punished.
The criminal act was the attack with the knife.
There is no crime for hating someone.
Give him the worst punishment for the crime committed.
If that isn't enough then increase the punishment.
If this was done by someone that just didn't want to pay his fare,
would the cab driver be any less injured? Would it not be as bad a crime?
People in the world hate. There will always be hate in the world. We can not change that. Punish people for the criminal act, not their thoughts behind the act.
When the stupidist reasons are the reason to commit a crime, let the punishment be harsh. The crime is the crime. If the punishment for assualt with a deadly weapon, attempted murder, is less then life in prison, then it needs to be. If you give him life, how can you punish him more?(technically, as three life terms sometimes means they could be out
in 20-30yrs.)
Terrorists that attack Americans, Extremist who attack Christians, Racists that violently attack a person of that race, break the law when they turn to violence. They have commited no crime by merely hating. We have the right to free speech, that means free opinions. Punish "hate crimes" to the max. But we really need to think about that threshold we cross when we start considering what a person is thinking when we seek charges. Today its the extemist and violence. What about when its just not politically correct thinking is a hate crime?
Do we have other laws that are linked to the thoughts/attitudes of a suspect rather then his actions?

Free lance? If someone sent him they should have made sure he was offered help to deal with issues the combat can bring. (and they might have, he might have refused.)
