What we are bashing is the political ideology that says "you must accept and celebrate everything we do or we will seek to punish you for it. And furthermore you must accept that we are going to educate your children to accept it and believe in it."

I think there was an attempt by the current administration to regulate some speech but it got shutdown due to the backlash.

Lol, people on the left are always trying to subvert or get around the constitution. They are continually calling it an outdated piece of paper. Time to get rid of it they say. Why do they want to pack the supreme court? To shut out constitutional judges and get people who won't adhere to the constitution.

Calls to overturn the 2nd amendment, calls to end the electoral college are both just a couple of ways the left in this country are trying to get rid of it.

The swastika is the ultimate symbol of authoritarianism. Although I'd argue that the hammer and sickle is just as bad if not worse, but that's beside the point.

People who use it as a symbol for their ideology are nothing more than authoritarians.

People also use it to claim that others are authoritarians.

It's no different than calling someone a Nazi. It's used in many different ways. In this case the author told us the meaning.
