Interesting that you bring this up. All in the Family is famous for having one of the first transgendered characters on television and as a recurring character, Beverly LeSall played by real life transexual Lori Shannon. Archie made his hate full jokes and everyone laughed until Archie discovered that he liked her and let up on the insults and jokes. Beverly was attacked by gay bashers shortly after leaving the Bunker home and killed. Archie was left wondering why anyone would want to hurt someone just because they were different, and he had a moment of realization.

Don't remember that. But I still think we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again.

Lol. Trans people are not bad people. Neither are any people who suffer from any of the LGBTQ conditions. They are hurting people. They need help and they need Jesus. We all need Jesus.

That community has problems outside the norm of society. Society in general have a lot of problems. You can be part of the 95+% of society and still suffer from depression, alcoholism, STDs. You can be permiscuous, adulterous and suffer abuse. All these things are a part of the human condition. The LGBTQ groups all suffer the same things but in greater proportion and than is typical. And every one of them also wrestle with who they are. They need help. The issue is they don't want help.

Not only that but a large portion of them want to indoctrinate children that they might be the opposite sex or they might be gay and they are willing to go to great lengths to encourage it including getting kids to take drugs that chemically castirate them and encouraging them to chop off perfectly healthy body parts.

I have no issue with helping the ones who want help. The ones who actually promote their condition to society in general, and especially to young children are the problem. Just like someone who is an alcoholic and wants to stop drinking and get sober is completely different from an alcoholic who insists upon going into school classrooms to teach young kids about how "great" it is to get stone-cold drunk after a long, hard day at school.

When did you declare someone a racist when all you knew was that they told a racist joke?

so i didn't say it....moving on now
Okay, I'll do it just this once. Here's the exchange between us, in order, with links to confirm time stamps. It's not that hard to go back and look at your own posts instead of pretending you didn't make the claims you made.
And comedy has always been the one bastion of freedom for inappropriate irreverent and irresponsibility. And now they are being cancelled too.

So when racists face consequences for saying what they do - they are actually the victims...

Telling racist jokes doesn't make you racist.

why would someone who is not a racist tell racist jokes?

Because jokes make people laugh. The topic has nothing to do with whether a joke works or not. And if it works, it's funny.

they get racists to laugh

If youre going to speak for me then just have the argument with me in your own head. Im not needed to carry it on. Plus you can win every time. It will be so fun!
I explained why my description of your position is logically inferred from your statements.

first Gina Joy Carano isn't a comedian and she wasn't telling a joke much less a racist joke.

I didn't say she was a racist or anyone else was a racist

That wasn't the part of what you quoted that I referenced.

You didn't call out a specific person and that's not what I said you did.

If your position wasn't how I described it then when I said to you:
"Telling racist jokes doesn't make you racist"
you would have responded
"Yeah, so what?"

Don't be phony.

I've actually thought if this myself. It is an apt comparison. The difference is LGBTQ folks don't see themselves in the same way. How dare you compare them to an alcoholic! ;)

I don't think they should. It's good to have these things out in the open so we can see how some will make a claim and when shown how they are wrong will try and claim they didn't say what they said. Gaslighting. Its important to know who's doing that.

Yeah, good points, but I think that they’re mostly on the same page but talking past one-another right now. Anyways, this is my last on this since it’s wildly OT.

I'm asking you

Don't you care to hear it from those who were actually injured by those people? Or is it more convenient to ignore them, even as your president exploits them for his political games?

once again you have stooped to calling a minority diseased showing how laughable your claim that you don't hate LGBT people is

Are you saying that only people who call themselves "LGTB" can be hated?
NO one here has said anything of hte sort and you know it. So why would you ask such a question? I mean aside from trying to avoid answering the simple question 'is it ever OK to attack someone?'
