Saying anything against LGBTTQQIAAP+ is becoming illegal as predicted.
"G" is just one letter in LGBTTQQIAAP+. But you're right, any pushback or objections to the LGBTTQQIAAP+ agenda equals bashing and must be stopped. Of course bashing those who don't support the LGBTTQQIAAP+ agenda is rightfully justified and to be encouraged. Not in anything approaching reality. But you guys should whine some more about how your no longer allowed to bash gay people without push back. It's a great look.
Did you read the article? I wouldn't have known that was a swastika unless someone told me. I don't see a case for having someone arrested for posting that. Not in anything approaching reality. Don’t go posting offensive things online. Seems obvious. UK is not America where being awful to people is not frowned upon. People in the UK are held to a higher, better standard of decorum.
Obviously.

No it doesn't. In the US if you are a celebrity or public official you can be canceled for saying something the LGBTQ community finds offensive. It hasn't come to arrests yet.I agree that it strikes me as a ridiculous thing to arrest someone for but lets wait to see the results of the trial.
The idea that I am ridiculing is that people who speak out against homosexuals are somehow persecuted. If they had to go through a half of what homosexuals had to deal with I could see the constant agitation. But a single person being arrested in the UK does not mean the end of free speech in America.
context? fine
This bit of free speech will land you in jail too
Maybe, context is missing here.

I have seen some positive things for LGBTQ peopleJust as you can be canceled for saying something Conservative Christians find offensive. See the Dixie Chicks and Disney in Florida. I have yet to see any sort of legislation limiting anti LGTBQ like I have seen from the right. Have you seen anything from the government coming from the left on this issue?
Just in Portland they cut the police budget by 16 million...it hasn't worked out so well.Evidence please.
is it ridiculous to arrest someone who burns a cross or defaces a temple?I agree that it strikes me as a ridiculous thing to arrest someone for but lets wait to see the results of the trial.

prior to a 2003 ruling by the Supreme Court cross burning by racists was considered a form of free speech and was therefor protected speech.Maybe, context is missing here.
Really? The left match through American towns chanting ‘Jews will not replace us’ at Unite the Right rallies?
Yes yes. You are so put upon. You can't even post a gay swastika in the UK. When will the persecution stop?
Racists tried that ploy and failed. They would threaten African American families by burning the cross in a willing neighbor's yard. It's still a hate crime and can still get you arrested.Someone could do it on their own property
is it ridiculous to arrest someone who burns a cross or defaces a temple?
A hate crime is a hate crime whether it is done in person or in general. The goal of these acts are to threaten their targets, to express a threat of violence against individuals and whole communities.
