Actually by extinguish I meant "destroy". Annoying though it may sound, but I don't seem to like these creatures at all. Yesterday I was petrified when I saw one.

Besides, if they really were destroyed, we would all die as well. Our world depends on their existence. Beetles, worms, bacteria, bees.... All absolutely crucial. So just granting your wish would - in reality - have been to kill all life on earth.

Knowledge is the force by which fear can be combated. That, and then there are also alternatives. Lightning Process for example can really remove fear, angst, depression, lack of energy, and more. I know, I use it on a daily basis Not against fear though. For focus and energy as I have had some issues with that in the past. Works wonders! I thank you for your kind words. I am glad that I mentioned about my fear. I never knew about LP and when I was going through it's website, I read about all types of problems people face even when they are successful in their life. (I am still going into the details of this programme right now ... where it is held ... is it online as well ... such kind of details.) Yes I meant to remove my fears seriously as I have seen that I end up hating/misunderstanding many things/creatures/people 'cos of my fear. Although I confess in advance that I will never be able to stop disliking certain creatures(such as the creepy ones) even if I stop being scared of them, at least I won't suffer from anxiety and stress.
(By the way, I want to tell you that I like many animals a lottt (most of them are cute ones) like rabbits, dolphins, whales, penguins, panda, birds and many more .. I also support Greenpeace's anti-whaling programme. )
I have been afraid of quite a few things like darkness, certain type of people etc. Also, I have negative thoughts at times(I guess it happens with everyone though) 'cos of which I keep on reading certain passages and psalms from "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale. This book has created some sort of positive impact on me and I refer to it at times currently. But I am still scared of certain things. I don't even like to watch violence in the movies (but at least this thing I don't consider to be wrong even if it is the result of some sub-conscious level fear ... maybe).
