A doctor walked into the room everybody was in and looked at them as they all looked up at him.Chance was starting to wake up and heard the doctors voice.
"She's alive.She's going to be okay now.....Ahe just needs rest and to stay in the hospital for about eh...A month to a month and a half and then she'll be good to go and be outta here."he said.
"Oh...Thank God..."John said running his hands through his hair sitting down.
Alyssa......You're alive.....Good job....Chance thought starting to open his eyes.As they watched the doctor leave Chance saw Alyssas bed being rolled back into her room past the door.She just looked really pale and still and sort of sick.Which she kind of of was.Well just plain was.Chance sighed in relife and put his head down gentley.
"You okay,Chance?"Devin asked.
"Yeah...Just realived..."Chance replied looking up at him.He wiped a little sweat away and tried his best to sit up which he finally did with Ryous help.All of a sudden another doctor walked in.
Oh great...What now?John and Chance thought.
"Chance,Due to your stitches and minor block outs you have to stay about five weeks here."he said.Chance nodded looking up at him.
"Would you like to have Alyssa in this room as well since to beds can be put in here and since you two are close?"the doctor asked.The room was a big room and the doctor was right two beds could be put in there but a curtain could seperate the two if need or want be.
"Yeah.That'd be fine."Chance said.
"Okay.Would the rest of you please step out for a moment then?"he asked nicely.They all nodded walking out.One of the nurses pulled Alyssa out of her other room and put her into the other room with Chance and the rest followed in.The nurse put all the plugs back in and set her all up.Alyssa was still in her normal clothes and hadn't been changed yet.She was gripped onto the blanket and wouldn't let go.She had a needle in the left crease of her arm.Above her elbow and she had a pulse tester on her right pointer finger.She put a damp cold wash cloth on Alyssas head and fluffed her pillows a tad and covered her up a little more and left with a smile.The others looked over and smiled realizing she would be okay this time.For a long time.While Alyssa was sleeping she squezzed her eyes for a brief moment and groaned in pain and let them lose like she was normaly sleeping again.Chance smiled.
"She's okay....For good now.We won..."Chance said smiling.He reached over and moved her long bangs out of her eyes and she flinched so he pulled his hand back.They all smiled at her peacfully sleeping.Time passed by and it turned 9:00 P.M. and everyone had left.Finally,Alyssa woke up and looked around deliriously.She vaguley saw Chance and lifted her head.
"Y-You......You're hurt..."Alyssa said.Chance looked over.
"It's okay.I'm fine.How are you feeling?"Chance asked.
"A-A little dizzy but otherwise...O-Okay.You were...In my dream...."Alyssa managed.Chance smiled realizing what he wanted happened.He had helped Alyssa break free from her mind captured prision.
"About what?"Chance asked.
"I-I dunno...I can't remember..."she replied.
"Oh.Well.I'm glad you're better now."he said."You have to be here for a month.Maybe a month and a half."
"A-And you?"she asked."Will you be here long?Will you be okay?"
"I'll be fine.Yes I'm okay.And I'm only here because of my stitches and occasional block outs.See?"he asked lifting up the side of his shirt.
"Oh.I'm sorry!They look like they hurt."she sadly said.
"They do.But I'll only be here for about five weeks.Maybe less if I improve so they can take them out for me."he said smiling crossing his hands behind his head.
"Well that's good."she said looking up at him."What happened to me?"
"You died by trying to save me."he said looking over at her as well.
"Oh..I don't remember that."she said with a sigh.
"Oh well.At least your back with us to stay."he said.
"Yeah."she responded.She tried moving her arm but having the needle pushed in more.
"Ouch..."she looked down at it."Ewww..."she gaged."Needles..."
"Don't like 'em?"Chance asked.
"No.Not one bit.They scare me..."Alyssa said.
"Oh.I never knew that.I'm sorry."Chance said.
"It's okay."Alyssa replied.They started a conversation and had all the time in the world to carry it on at the time.At least untill Chance's time was up.Unless he came to visit.But that wasn't for a while.

"Ow.."Alyssa whispered as a nurse walked in with a bunch of stuff.
"Hold still please."she said.Chance looked over.
"What?"he asked.
"My hand..........I-It hurts."Alyssa replied."And I hurt...All over...I can't stand it."
"It's because you broke it when you were fighting."the nurse said.The fire impacted your force and rushed at your hand as well as the rest of your body and broke it."the nurse said bandaging her left hand getting it ready for her cast.
"Oh.Ouch.It-It hurts though."she said.
"I know.Just cool down.It's going to be okay.Take these."the nurse said ginving her some sleeping pills.Alyssa took them and soon fell asleep.
"It's so we can put her cast on."she said to Chance.He nodded agreeingly.About 20 minutes later Alyssa was back in the room with her cast on.It was black.Chance gave them that idea.Alyssa was sleeping and Chance woke up when they brought her back in.
"The pills should wear off in a few minutes."the nurse said.
"Okay."Chance replied to her.And just like she said,a few minutes later Alyssa was awake.He vision blurred and she looked around figuring out where she was at and she turned over and saw Chance.
"Good.You're awake."he said smiling.She smiled back.
"I hurt...a lot....."she replied.
"It's okay.It'll wear away.She looked at her hand and saw a cast that was black.
"How?"she asked not finishing.
"I told them that was your favorite color."he said.
"Thanks.You're so sweet."she replied barley able to keep her eyes open still weak from the pills.
"You're welcome.I just want you to be happy."he said.Alyssa nodded and fell asleep by the sound of his voice.Chance smiled and stared at her.
Good....She needs some rest.She needs to sleep.he thought.He closed his eyes and fell asleep as well.The next morning came and Chance was the first to wake up out of the two.John had come to visit and was quite not to wake Alyssa up.He looked at her and smiled.
"How long has she been like that?"John asked.
"She's been out cold since last night after she got her cast on."Chance replied.
"Oh I see."John replied quitely.Then she started to wake up again.Slowly at first and she yawned and went into a ball.The needle in her arm was out for the time being.

Alexis sat outside at the park by herself. She sighed kinda sadly and got up. She started walking with no urge to go anywhere anytime fast. She walked to downtown with all the hoodlums and gangs. She blended in quite well with everyone. She wore a beanie, ripped jeans and a baggy hoody. A gang surrounded her
" What do you want 'round here??" The man asked.
Alexis quivered in fear at this. She looked around but she was surrounded. There was no where to run.Giving up, she replied
"N-No-Nothing"

The gang continued to close the area around Alexis. "Well, the least we can do is have some fun with her, right boys.....?" asked the gang leader. It was obvious he was the gang leader, as several of his subordinates surrounded him. "Grab her!!" he commanded. Alexis flinched, trying to back away, but she remembered she was surrounded. They slowly closed around her, tightening the circle. "Someone, help!!!" she screamed. "Your screams are useless, girly!!Hahahahah--UGH!!" the gang leader said, falling forward. Alexis looked at the gang leader. There was Devin, his fist slamming into the gang leader's jaw. "That guy....he downed High Max!!!" said one of the gang members. Devin ran over to Alexis, and slammed a few punches and kicks on the gang members around her. "He's fast..." said a few of the other gang members. "Dog pile 'im! Take him down!!!" they all shouted. They lunged towards Devin, jumping him. Energy was charged in Devin's hand, and he turned to the gang members, blasting them away with a burst of energy. Alexis looked at Devin, scared. Devin smiled. "Don't worry. They're not dead, just unconcious. Come on, let's get out of here." he said. Alexis smiled back, and nodded. "Come on! Let's go check on Chance and Alyssa!" said Devin. Alexis nodded, and they ran all the way to the hospital.

"Everyone's here again...." said Chance. Everyone was happy, and chatting. "I don't mean to sound rude, but can you guys not come tommorow?" asked Chance. Everyone stared. "I don't mean to sound rude, but this is a hospital! It's kind of difficult to heal with you guys making us laugh....I mean, some privacy would be nice....." said Chance. Everyone seemed to quit talking to him after that. "Great, I made them mad. But it's the turth. How am I gonna get any stornger getting beat up all the time...? But, hey, my Sayain blood makes me a little bit stornger after every fight....". He could feel his energy building, "The Tournament's not too far away, I'm planning on telling everyone in a minute...." he thought. He cleared his throat. "Sorry to interruot, but I was going to tell you all.....that there's a tournament coming up in a few months....I'm planning on entering. But there's a difference from the last tournament we were in...." he said, pushing up his glasses. "Like what...?" asked John. "It's not a TEAM tournament. You fight individually. 64 participants, in all......It's the largest tournament ever being held, even bigger than the last tournament we were in....but, there's only one problem....it's on the same island as the last one!!" said Nin.

John looked at everyone.
"That's not a problem....."John replied.
"Not THAT much anyway."Alexis replied.Alyssa could barley talk.It was hoarse.She just watched what was going on for a little bit.She smiled however.She was huddled under the covers freezing cold.
"I-I wanna join....."she spoke up barley above a whisper.Chance along with everyone looked over.
"I dunno if you'll be out by then,Alyssa."Chance said sadly.
"But...But I wanna join...I'll try to get better by then.."she said.
"Okay.You do that!You can!"John replied.
"I-"she started.
"Shhhhh...You don't want to lose all of your voice do you?"Chance asked.Alyssa shook her head.
"Sorry."she said.
"It's okay."Chance smiled.Alyssa closed her eyes for a moment and started getting bored.
"I'm bored..I wanna play DDR or write or draw...And I want my purse and sword..."Alyssa said with a sigh.
"When we leave tonight we'll get it and bring it for ya."Devin said.
"I ca go get 'em now if you want me,too."John said.
"Would you?"Alyssa asked.
"Yep.I'll be back soon."he said leaving the room.
"Thanks."Alyssa smiled trying to sit up."Okay...This cast is REALLY annoying...."Alyssa said still trying to sit up and finally getting there and shuting up not to make Chance mad at her.John got to Alyssas apartment and walked inside and looked around.He grabed her sword,purse and notebook and folder where she kept all of her stories and walked out shutting the door.He walked back in about 10 minutes.They lived fairly close to the hospital.He walked in and handed the stuff to Alyssa who thankes him in a big hug and a smile.Chance smiled and watched her for a moment and looked back up at everyone who was discussing the tournament.It turned 7:25 P.M. and it started getting dark.
"What should we do now?"Chance asked.
"I dunno.What do you wanna do?"Devin asked as Alexis yawned.
"I'm gonna go home.I'm tierd."Alexis said."Bye guys."Chance waved back at her.
"I think I'm goin',too."Ryou said following."Bye."
"Bye!"they all said waving back.
"what about you two?"Chance asked.
"I dunno."they both replied.
"I'm thinkin' about the torny."John replied.
"I'm watching Alyssa sleep."Devin said.
"I'm not asleep....I just have my eyes..."Alyssa said falling asleep.
"She's asleep."Chance said laughing.
"Out cold."Devin said.
"Knocked out."John joined in."Since she's asleep.I'm probley gonna leave.I'll be back later..."John said.
"Yeah.Same."Dein said."I dun wanna wake sleeping beauty..."They walked out and Chance waved to them.When they left he sighed and leaned against his pillow.Alyssa looked up.
"I wasn't really sleeping."Alyssa laughed.
"Figured as much."Chance said.
"I just couldn't take the noise anykmore.To many voices....Makes me really shaky."Alyssa said.
"Oh I see.Never knew that."Chance said.
"You don't know much about me do you?"she asked smiling.

Zack said goodbye to everyone and left the hospital so he can find where that brat that stole his sunglasses went...*and visiting hours were over*so he knocked on the door and saw the kid w/ his "shades"so he grabbed them and walked off...
when are visiting hours?he wondered,"guess I'll find out tommorow"and he rented a room at the closest hotel he cold find...(and cheapest*

Chance attuned his ears to make sure no one was coming. "I think we can have an accelerated recovery...." said Chance, grinning. "How...?" asked Alyssa, hoarse. "I can use it to heal you, and then you can use it to heal me! Then we can take it easy for a few days to make sure we're okay, and then we'll be set!" he said. Alyssa didn't argue, even though in the back of her mind she doubted it. Chance used his energy to slowly heal Alyssa, healing her wrist to where she would only have to wear the cast for a few days, and healed all the bruises and wounds. Alyssa did the same for Chance, but didn't heal the stitches. "Why not?" he asked. "Because, if I accelerate the healing, then the stitches will damage the new skin....I'll do it AFTER the stitches are off...." she said, smiling. "Great....you get an accelerated recovery, and I'm still stuck with these dumb stitches...." he said. Alyssa laughed, her voice had returned from the healing.

Maybe this could be a good thing about the procced healing...I mean...We CAN get out of here faster but won't they raise some suspicens?I don't know right now.Ah well.I've got my notebook and folder and a pen and my purse and one of my best friends with me.I think I'm good to go right now.But wait......What about my hand....Bones can't heal THAT fast.They'll REALLY be suspcious now....But...They won't check it for another few weeks.Okay..I'm good now.Never mind.Alyssa thought to herself.She looked over at Chance and smiled at him who smiled at her.
"Thanks."she said.
"Thanks to you,too!"he replied happily.
"Now what?"she asked.
"I dunno....Wait...I remembering you saying,'You don't know much about me do you?'Well...No,I don't why don't you tell me more about yourself and then.....Then I'll do the same."he said and blinked pushing up his glasses.Alyssa thought about that one for a minut.She didn't know Chance as well as she'd like to either.
"Yeah.Okay."Alyssa said.She sat up and crossed her legs yet she still hurt and she flinched.Chance sat up as well."Okay my backround......After my sister was born I was pushed away from my parents a little bit.Because it's a new child and they need more at the time and stuff so I was like..Ooookay then?'Cause I was only three.But it kept on.Then when she turned six she got cancer.I was only eight and a half nine years old and I got pushed away and ignored even more and nobody at school ever liked me and I just felt like no one in the world ever would like me so I became a loner and I still am that way.Then one night when my parents and Katie were going to the hospital for a check up on Kate. they got slammed by a drunk driver and all three died.I was at home alone.And the Bakura poped in my life and he wasn't MY yami 'caue he was Ryous but he still acted like mine and he abused me every day for six years.Up to now.But then along the road I also got Nina and she was mine.And she joined in with Bakura and abused me as well and gave me double the pain.I wanted to die so much and for so long and no one ever understood me and if they saw half the bruises they'd be like,"Eww....You harlot...Get away!You're a nasty little perv." and I didn't even do anything wrong so I kept myself covered with pants and my hoodie and I don't make friends much because of that.Well then I met you guys and you guys are the BEST thing that's EVER happened to me but we get into all these fights with bad guys now because I've gotta melenium item and I have a power inside me that could destroy the world and because I'm a Warrior Of God so I've been trying my best to get over everything and I've been getting there slowly.Very slowly.So that's why I don't have many friends or anything like that and I'm alone a lot.But I'm trying to make all of my friend pleased so I don't lose anymore friends then I already have.Because after lossing my faily....That's the worst feeling in the world."Alyssa said.She was holding tears back by this time."I hate feeling like that,too...Oh...I'm so sorry."She wiped a few tears away and started hiding her face in her hoodie.
"No.It's okay.I understand."Chance said.
"And you already know the basics about me...Color and favorites and everything...I think...DO you?"she asked nervously.

Alexis stretched herself on her bed. She looked up at the ceiling and stared at it for several hours before finally falling asleep.

A few hours later she awoke covered in cold sweat with tears streaming down her face.
"I-I-It w-w-was only a-a d-dream" she whispered.
She got up and went to go make herself breakfast.

She ate and then went to go watch Tv. She flipped through the channels but nothing was on. So she turned it off and went to go get dressed. She put on a light blue shirt and some jeans and went to go take a walk. Her eyes had a strange look to them. They darted around as of she was afraid. She fingered her blade that she had in her pocket in case she got jumped again. Alexis was terrified out of herself. So she walked to a seculed place she had found a while ago and sat at a spring looking at her reflection. Tears started to fill her eyes. She had only remained happy for a short time and now her depression was starting to take affect. She was alone. Even Devin had started not paying as much attention to her again. Taking of her shoes, she jumped into the spring.

"Well, as I've alreayd told you, the katana I used to use in battle is very special to me....because someone special gave it to me. One of my best friends forged it for me in my old town when we were little....her parents died when she was very little, and my parents took her in. For as long as I could remember, we were together. She went to Ninja Academy for a few years to learn how to heal wounds with chakra.....of course, I graduated. Then, our village was attacked by Bakura. He annihilated most of the town easily. He found me unconcious, and took me away from the village. When I woke up, he told me that he killed everyone. But, I don't believe him....he may have killed my parents, but I believe they're alive somewhere, and I may try to find them someday. But, I need to find my friend first......my friend and I kbnew each other so well, I'm sure she would enter every martial arts tournament she could to find me....which is why I'm always on the look-out for tournament's....." said Nin. "Then, I met you and John, and eventually met Alexis, and Devin, and now Zach. It may seem like I'm obsessed with martial arts, but I feel like if I'm going to enter those tournament's to look for my friend, then I have to be ready....." said Nin. The doctor came in for a routine check-up, and was shocked at they're amazing recovery. "Chance, we might be able to take your stitches off tommorow, and Alyssa, we can take your cast off today! Did you use your sword?" asked the doctor. It was the same one that helped Alyssa heal both times before.

Alyssa was nervous and didn't know what to say.She looked at Chance and back up at the doctor.
"N-No.I didn't have enough energy to do that to myself.Are you serious?A-And my hand.Oh!It hurts SO badly!"Alyssa said trying to make it look real.Amazingly it worked and he left Alyssa alone for the time bring.He walked over at Chance and he started getting a little nervous as well.
"Did you do this to yourself?"he asked.
"Uhhhhhh.Yeah!P-Plenty of sleep and rest here in this hospital!Man you guys are good at your jobs!I can't thank you enough for what you've done!You're the best doctors I've ever had!"Chance lied swiftly.
"Oh okay.But they'll be good enough to be taken out by tomarrow.Maybe in two days.Get plenty of rest."the doctor said as he walked out of the room.Alyssa fell to her pillow in a sigh of realife.
"Woah....All of a sudden I just got this HUGE headache......Ouch."she said rubbing her head.Chance looked over at her when the doctor left.
