"GOOD JOB,CHANCE!"Alyssa shouted.
"Thanks."Chance smiled.Alyssa nodded clapping like everyone else in the stands,which were a lot.John and Devin were hollering as well and Gabe was clapping.He walked over to where Alyssa and the rest stood.
"THAT WAS AWSOME!"John shouted.
"Yeah.Good job."Devin said.Alyssa looked over and smiled weakly and turned to walk away.She suddenly disappered behind the wall and faded.She sighed and sat down by the edge of a cliff and just stared down thinking.Chance had watched her walk away and wondered why.He blanked out trying to figure it out but came back when the next person was called and getting a slap onh the back.He looked over back at her and walked towards the rest of the gang.

Several more matches continued. Devin and John both one theirs, as well. "Now.....we will continue on to the third round immediately!!!" said shiyo. "What?! My wounds haven't healed form my fight with Inugami....." said Chance. "The first round will be....Alyssa vs. Chance!!!". Everyone's eyes flew open, wondering if they heard right. Chance turned, looking in Alyssa's direction. "Alyssa, time to fight...." he said. "I know." she said. Nin walked over to the other side of the ring. The whole crowd grew silent. They had both one amazing victories over competitors who were supposed to be really storng.....how would this battle turn out? Chance climbed into the ring. "Guess since I'm fighting you, I'll have to get serious...." said Chance. He pulled off his sweatbands on his wrists, and pulled his overshirt off. Underneath it was a muscleshirt. He tossed the clothes effortelessly through the air.....and slammed into the ground, creating a crater. "Woo, that feels better...." he said, rotating his arms in circles, and stretching. "I forgot what my own weight felt like, wearing those clothes...." he said. "Your not the only one who wears weighted clothes...." said Alyssa. She removed her gloves, and took off her sweatshirt, also tossing them to the gorund. They also created a crater. "Your crater's smaller than mine...." said Chance. "Yeah, but those weights are at least three times my own body weight, so I wouldn't be talking..." said Alyssa. "I really don't wanna hurt you. Let's say I end this...in two punches?" asked Chance, winking at her. "Don't get cocky!!" she said. "HAH!!!!!!" she shouted, making her energy soar. Chance's eyes widened. "I didn't realize she had gotten this storng...." he said. "Her power rating is well over a million, I'm sure of it......" he said. He remained in his current form. "No reason to reveal all my tricks in the third round..." he said. They both got in fighting stances. "Begin!!!" said shiyo. Alyssa charged Chance. Chance leaped into the air, coming down on Alyssa. Alyssa raised her arms to block an axe heel kick from Chance, and then swung her leg around for a reverse snap kick. Chance blocked with a forearm block, and then slammed Alyssa in the stomach. Alyssa flew back a ways, skidding to the edge of the ring. "Without my weights, my power increases by at least 20 times. You do the math...." said Chance. Chance began charging energy into his hands. "Ka....Me....Ha....Me...." he started saying. "That's the same move the girl used!!!" someone in the audience shouted. "HA!!!!!" shouted Chance. He released the built up energy. "No time to dodge......Kamehameha!!!!!" said Alyssa, charging, and releasing her own energy quickly. She narrowed the width of the beam, peircing Chance's larger Kamehameha with her smaller one. Chance saw it coming, though, and leaped over the attack. "Amazing....she focused her energy into a tighter area, and made mine invert itself, and come back towards me, along with her own beam.....I might actually have to use the Sharingan this round....!!" thought Chance.

"Thanks to you,I have that move!"Alyssa smiled.
"Heh."Chance snickered.
"I guess it's time to take things up a notch."Alyssa said."Shono power....Metamorphosis!"She started changing into her demon cat form.Growing of course her cat ears and tail and her hair turning to black and eyes to brown.She also obtained a different set of black gloves that had some hidden powers.
"Oh...Not that again..."Chance whispered to himself.
"Yep!This again!"Alyssa reausred Chance.
"How did you hear that?!"he asked.
"I'm a cat.I've got cat ears.I can hear VERY well.I can even hear the heart beating inside your chest rushing a million times per hour."Alyssa said with a smile.
"Yeah right.Very funny."Chance said."You sure can!"He sounded sarcastic.
"Fine....If you won't take MY word for it...Let me do this!Hearing of the ages!"Alyssa yelled.Nothing was happening and it was silent.Alyssa smiled a huge smile.
"What did you do?"Chance asked.
"IT WASN'T STUPID!"Alyssa yelled.
"I didn't say it was."Chance said.
"That's not what your mind says.And I also see that you're gonna pull out Sharingan in the third round.Nice.I'm gonna have to try to beat it somehow."Alyssa said.Chance stared in disbelif.
"I never thought that."Chance said.
"Oh yes you did.I'm focused on you and you only.Your mind anyway."Alyssa said.
"well then...Maybe we can earase that."Chance said charging at Alyssa."MIND EARASE!"He wiped away Alyssas power of reading.She tried to read Chances thoughts again.Nothing.
"How-"ALyssa asked.
"I've got meh own powers as well."Chance cut in.
"Errrrrrr....."Alyssa growled furiously.She swung her blade around and Chance grabed his out of the ground and brought it up blocking Alyssas attack.She brought her sword back to attack again but Chance swung and sliced Alyssa cleanly across the ribs and chest.She plunged back and skided.
He's definitly gotten better.Better than I thought.Especilly after every thing that's happened the past month or two.I can't lose to him.Guys can't always win right?I can't seem weak!I gotta stand up for myself.And it all starts now.Alyssa thought.
"What?You weaker than excpected?"Chance asked looking down at Alyssa.
"No...No way.ESPECILLY after THAT comment!"Alyssa yelled getting furious.
"Well that's how you were acting..."Chance said.
"I don't care..."Alyssa siad.
"Oh well."Chance said swinging his sword down at her.She quickly rolled over and ran like a cat over to a different part of the arena and jumped up to stand.
"Yeah!Nice shoot but I'm over here,Hun.Not over there."Alyssa smiled.Chance turned around growling.Alyssa all of a sudden thought of a song and started swaing back and forth to it.
"What are you doing?!"Chance asked."This is NO time for listening to the songs that go through your thick head."Chance said.
"OH!So NOW I have a thick head also?!"Alyssa asked."Well let this song prove different!"All of a sudden she started singing.
"What now?"Chance asked.

"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU SINGING?!"Chance yelled.
"KUCHI NE CAOKU!!!!"Alyssa yelled."BAKA!"She suwng her sword."HA!TIYA!!!!!"She swung again slashing Chance on the leg.She took a step back to take a breather.Chance did the same.
"Thi isn't over."Chance said picking up his sword and swning at Alyssa.
"MEOW!"she freakes out a ducked.She jumped up and jumped off of Chances head behind him.She stuck her sword in the ground And suwng ontop of it and swungaround it hitting Chance in the stomach making him fly close to being out of the ring as well.She flew down grabbing her sword and Chance flew back at her.She ran out of the way and jumped into the air levitating and got higher.Chance eventually did the same.
"STOP COPYING ME!YOU'RE MAKING ME MAD ENOUGH AS IT IS!"Alyssa yelled.She let go of her levitation and fell to the ground landing on her feet.Chance looked amazed at her.
"I'm a cat get over youself."Alyssa said prancing a ways over from Chance in the air.He came down slowly.
"Alyssa....I didn't mean to make you mad.I-"Chance started.
"I don't care anymore.I quit.You've....Just forget it...I quit..."Alyssa said to him as he landed in front of her.She turned and started walking to the edge of the ring but Chance grabed her and pulled her back.
"LET GO!!!!!!"Alyssa yelled."I've had enough of you right now...And I don't wnat to hurt you..Just let me go!"Alyssa said holding back a few tears.
"But-."Chance started.
"I said...Just let go..."Alyssa siad.
"No.You can't quit now.'SIdes you have to be unconcious or knocked out of the ring in these rounds and you haven't done either."Chance said.Alyssa started fighting for him to let go.They both fell over and Chance was pinning Alyssa to the ground.Alyssa looked up at him and kicked him off of herself.
"FINE!YOU WANNA FIGHT THEN I'LL FIGHT!"Alyssa yelled.
"Okay...."Chance said.Alyssa ran over and swung at him and Chance blocked the attack.
"You want a fight...I'll give you a fight...."Alyssa whispered to him cracking her neck and jaw.He fingers got stiff so she cracked them as well.She plunged her sword in the air.
"LIGHTNING BLADE WHIPLASH!"she screamed out.Her sword landed in the ground beside her and she swung a bolt of lightning at Chance.
"ARE YOU HAPPY?!ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?!"Alyssa shouted out at him."Are you happy I'm in this now?!"
"Yes but-"Chance said looking down at the ground.
"This couldn't be like the fight Gabe and I had couldn't it of?I guess not."Alyssa said.Chance came up and looked at her.A tear streamed down her face."I'm so sick...I'm so sick of fighting."She whispered to herself."I can't stand it anymore....."

"Alyssa, I had to make you mad, or you wouldn't fight me for real. Now you can fight me no holds barred, and I can do the same...." said Chance. "She thinks I'm going to sue the Sharingan, but I've changed my strategy completely...." thought Chance. "Since you've transformed, guess that means I will too....." said Chance. "Haa!!!!!!" he shouted, surrounding himself in the golden aura. The energy emitting from his body blew a harsh wind, buffering the people in the stands and Alyssa. Alyssa kept her balance with her cat feet, though. "So, this isn't enough for you huh?" asked Chance. "No!! I'm going to beat you!!" shouted Alyssa. She came at Chance really fast, and tried to stab him. He blocked it, be grabbing the edge of her rapier (it's pointy, for stabby stabby, no slashy.) "Is that all?" he asked. "Grr......NO!!!!!Kamehameha!!!!!!" shouted Alyssa. She dropped her rapier, and charged the energy, releasing it at that close range. "Is....he dead?" asked someone in the audience. "There!!!" someone else shouted, pointing. "Had I not seen that attack coming, it would have destroyed me. Luckily I deflected it, or it would have destroyed some innocent people....." said Chance. Alyssa charged Chance, trying to scratch him with her cat claws. He dodged each attack fairly easy, and flipped over Alyssa, slamming her shoulder with his heel. "Ow!!" screamed Alyssa. In pure anger, she turned around, and slammed Chance in the chest with an energy attack. He flew back, almost flying out of the ring, but he lowered himself to the ground as he flew, and skidded on the ground instead. He stood up, dusting himself off. The attack had hit him point blank in the stomach, injuring him slightly, but it was too weak to cause a serious wound. Alyssa was massaging her shoulder to try and stop the pain. Alyssa started backing up to the edge of the ring. "I can't fight you. It's impossible. I won't win. You've grown to strong..." said Alyssa. Her heel edged over the edge of the ring.....

She thought for a moment as Chance lowered to the ground smiling,arms crossed.
"I was alread yfighting for real before you mad me mad....."Alyssa said sadly.
"No-"Chance started.
"Yes,Chance....I was...."Alyssa said.
"Please fight for real..."Chance said.
"I WAS!I WAS BEFORE YOU MADE ME MAD!I can't do this anymore...."Alyssa shouted.She fell to her knees and started crying.She knew she had to be strong however and held back tears because she didn't want to seem weak.She wiped a tear away and stood up.She saw Chance standing in front of her.
"GO AWAY!"Alyssa shouted running away behind him."I don't wanna talk to you right now...You mad me mad for no reason....I was already fighting real and now I just feel bad."Alyssa said.
"Alyssa..."Chance started.
"SHUT UP!"Alyssa yelled attacking Chance with all her might."JUST LEAVE......ME....ALOOOOOONE!"Chance kept blocking her every attack until she wore out to the ground gasping for breaths.Chance stood there perfectly fine but a little scratched up from a few attacks he missed to block."Just go away."
"I can't."Chance said."One of us is gonna win...Who's that gonna be?"Alyssa looked up at him and stood up again.

"Do you really think it should be you? Trust me, your getting upset over a little thing. Think about it. There will be even stronger opponents in the matches to come. Are you prepared for that? I'm the only one who has remained on a strict training regimen since the other tournament, and that was months ago. Another question, what if someone says something that gets you all riled up again. Will you be able to control yourself, or will you have a fit?" asked Chance. "Chance is playing mind games.....but everything he's saying is true!! I don't want Alyssa to get hurt, but Chance my be hurting her when he's trying to protect her!!" thought John.

I got busy with the other forum that I go to, since I'm a moderator there, and also got recently addicted to Ragnarok Online, not to mention the tons of college reports I gotta deal with. Sorta forgot about this... thanks for PMing me, Alyssa, the e-mail notification reminded me. And sorry to everyone else, I shouldn't have just left you like that.)

John merely closed his eyes, as he sighed. This was going to hurt Alyssa. A lot. The problem is whether or not this was going to be a short term affect or a long term one. Hopefully it would be a short-term one...

The words continued to hurt Alyssa more and more, as she sat in the arena, exhausted. John looked at her as she sat there, upset, losing the will to fight more and more with every falling tear. He knew that this was part of Chance's plan, but he wondered if this was going a bit too far.

Any more and they might have to call the fight... she can't fight like this. C'mon, Alyssa... quit worrying about what he said, just gather whatever strength you have left and go all out... c'mon!

"You've hurt me enough today....Lightning blade whiplash!"she called out.She focused the lightning in her hand and threw it at Chance.He moved out of the way but the bolt followed him until it hit him out of the ring.He looked up.
"No."he whispered to himself.Alyssa turned back to normal and walked out of the ring upset.
"Good job,Alyssa."the guys and Gabe told her.
"Not now,please....I'm not in the mood...."she said walking right past them to where she had sat before.Nobody could see her there and she started to cry because she couldn't hold it in any longer.Chance looked up and stood up walking over to the guys and Gabe.
"Nice try."they said.
"You were almost there."Devin said.He sat down by a tree near them and looked over at the fight.
"I think you should go apologize to Alyssa,Chance."John said.
"What for?"he asked.
"You know why.You hurt her worse than she thought you ment to.Don't make her dream come true...."John said.
"Uhh..Fine..."Chance said getting up.He walked over to Alyssa.
"Alyssa.."Chance started.
"Go away.."she said between sobs.
"Alyssa I just wanted to.."he started again.
"Leave me alone..."she told him.
"But,Lyss."he said.

John closed his eyes, as he bounced up into the air over the cliff, wings activating as he landed near Alyssa. He looked at her, as he sat down where he was at. He wasn't too sure what to say in this case, so he sat there, hoping that at least his presence would help her realize that he was there for her.

After thinking a bit, he spoke up. "You know, he probably didn't intend to be that harsh... though he was wrong to go that far. You okay?"

Alyssa cleared up her sobs and wiped her eyes of tears and wipped her wet cheecks.
"Yeah.I'm fine."Alyssa siad.
"I know you're not."John said.
"He was to hard on me.And yes,he DID take it to far.But I don't care about that I care that HE himself did it!If it was some COMPLETE and TOTAL stranger than I wouldn't care I'd wipe it off my shoulder 'cause I know I'm never gonna see them again but when it's your brother and one of your best friends,it's different.It hurts."she replied."And when he came over to me I knew he didn't want to be here and he was made to and if he wants to apologize and everything,he can do it on his own time when and if he wants to."
"Maybe you should go tell him that."he said to her.
"No...Please don't make me go right now."she pleaded.
"No.I'm not going to make you.You need to cool down and calm yourself down.Just need some time to yourself.I know how you feel."John said."If you need me I'm gonna be up with the gang okay?"She nodded as he walked over to her and hugged her.Alyssa hugged back."Ya know it's okay to cry around us.Feel better."he said as he let go and looked at her and turned.He flew up the cliff and towards everybody else.

"Yeah, just a bit wounded, emotionally. She needs some time to think and cry so let's just leave her there for now..." He didn't say anything to Chance since he'd probably be feeling guilty as is for what he did, so instead John pulled out a Slim Jim from his backpack and began munching on it, sitting down on the ground. "She doesn't have a match soon, does she?"

"Ummmmm.No I don't think so."Gabe said looking over at him.John nodded.
"Then let's just let her be."he said taking another bite.Gabe reached into her bookbag as well and pulled out Dorritos and started eating them.She was busy watching the match that was going on.Chance was slouched over on the ground watching the people as well.
"Maybe I should go up and apologize...."Alyssa whispered to herself."I don't even know anymore."She looked up the cliff and back down at the ground she had been staring at for so long now.A tear driped from her face to the ground hitting the dirt below her.

Realizing she was no longer important, Alexis similed sadly an took out a razor. She locked the door to her bathroom and ran some warms water. She lowered herslef down into the bathtub and made a mark upon her wrist cutting deeper this time.
