Ms. Maid in His Image:

"Thus found in fashion as a man,
All blameless, spotless, pure,
He was obedient unto death,
Sin's judgment to endure."

Based on Philippians 2.

Blessings.

How great, our Father, was Thy love,
How wonderful Thy grace,
In sending forth Thy well-beloved
To save our ruined race.
As being in the form of God,
Eternally the same,
With Thee, the Father, He, the Son,
Equality could claim.

But Thy blest counsels to fulfil,
He left His glorious throne;
And made Himself of no repute,
A servant’s form to own.
Thus found in fashion as a man,
All blameless, spotless, pure,
He was obedient unto death,
Sin’s judgment to endure.

To Him, above all heavens, dost Thou,
His rightful place accord,
That every knee to Him should bow,
Each tongue confess Him Lord.
Soon, through those opened heavens, again
The Saviour will appear;
With Him in highest glory then,
Our praises Thou wilt hear.

Meet me here
----------------------------------

Organ stopped its playing-
Everyone's gone home,
But I'm here,
wishing that somehow we could meet.
Preacher's stopped his preaching-
Somehow it goes on, in my heart,
Somehow I feel so incomplete.

You and me, all alone in Your house.
Don't know how to say it.
I guess that I'll just play.
I'm here... meet me here.

Pews and aisles so empty,
But you seem so near,
and I cry,
hoping that somehow I'd know You.
Choir stopped its singing.
Somehow I'm still here,
and the tears are blinding the eyes that needed You.

You and me, all alone in Your house.
Don't know how to say it.
I guess that I'll just play it.
I'm here... meet me here
-----------------------------------------------
Makes me cry when I hear it.

Ms. Maid in His Image:

I really love that one; we used to sing it at the church I used to attend several years ago.

Blessings.

Stand in Awe~Truth

I long to leave this world
behind me/with it's hatred
pain and fear/ when I'm
reminded of my journay/That
I'm just a pilgrim here/And my
eyes begin to fill with tears

That's when I think about
eternity/In a place I've never
seen/I wonder how it's gonna
be/And I'm caught up in a
dream/Where I find myself
at Jesus feet.

And I stand in awe of one so
holy/I stand amazed before
His majesty/And soon I find
myself no longer standing/But
bowing down in His glory/
Knowing I'm unworthy/
Until His Hand of mercy/
Raises me again to stand in
awe.

Someday my dream will be
reality when he finally takes us
home/From every nation, tribe,
and famoly/He will come to
claim His own/And we'll find
ourselves before
His throne/Before His throne.

And we'll stand in awe of One
so holy/We'll stand amazed
before his majesty/and soon
we'll find ourselves no longer
standing/But bowing down in
His glory/Knowing we're
unworthy/Until His hand of
mercy/Raises us again to
stand in awe.

Thus bowing down in His
glory/Knowing I'm
unworthy/Until His hand of
mercy raises me again/To
stand in awe/We'll stand in
awe.

Thou art the everlasting Word,
The Father’s only Son;
God manifestly seen and heard,
And Heaven’s belovèd one:

Refrain
Worthy, O Lamb of God, art Thou
That every knee to Thee should bow.

In Thee most perfectly expressed
The Father’s glories shine;
Of the full deity possessed,
Eternally divine:

Refrain

True image of the Infinite,
Whose essence is concealed;
Brightness of uncreated light;
The heart of God revealed:

Refrain

But the high mysteries of Thy Name
An angel’s grasp transcend;
The Father only—glorious claim!—
The Son can comprehend:

Refrain
Throughout the universe of bliss,
The center Thou, and sun;
The eternal theme of praise of this,
To Heaven’s belovèd one:

Refrain

I love that hymn by Josiah Conder! :0

Conder came from a Unitarian background, actually, but was converted.

Blessings.
