Any Christian can have the experiences I have had. It is not that I am special. But a person needs to try to live with out sin, and honor Jesus.
Do you apply the same standard to those that testify that they have been abducted by aliens?
Were those people that testified as being abducted by aliens actually abducted by aliens? Like with gods, they have no supporting evidence.Yes. That is my attitude toward any testimony."Do you apply the same standard to those that testify that they have been abducted by aliens?"
1. Listen first.
2. Understand it.
3. Decide if question it.
Are you really that slow? You psot a link to a page of multiple unsourced 'experiences' while writing as if they are your own and still do not get it when someone bothers to follow the link.
Oh well. I'm sure a few more will go now and see what I saw.
Were those people that testified as being abducted by aliens actually abducted by aliens? Like with gods, they have no supporting evidence.
Do you believe them or not?
How do you decide whether to question it?
One of the criteria:
If the person is a non-Christian, then I will more likely to question him.
But the question is on the content, not on the person.
That is the question I'm asking you.I don't know.
I will have to interview them to make decision.
But, I think they must experienced something unusual. Otherwise, It does not pay off to make up things like that. (You must assume that they are not stupid).
In general, issues like that make me wonder more about aliens then about people who made the witnesses. So, believe them or not is not really the issue for me.
That is beneath you.Just for clarity, not 'another', as that concurs with your rather clumsy 'trap' above. It is an imaginary friend. As gently as I can say this, you might quit doing it then.Your question is worded incorrectly. It should read, "Why the lack of desire for ME to evaluate your relationship... " And you failed to capitalize God again. Which seems to evade your mental grasp.
I've already told you all you need to know. Now you want me to repeat it all. The problem is you are not equipped to deal with the answers - as I've pointed out. You want me to explain 'color' to a blind person and are dissatisfied with my description of 'wave lengths' of light - you want to know how I 'feel' when I see color. Then you get mad when I cannot because you are blind.
Why do you keeping asking answers that have been answered and then pretend outrage when you cannot grasp the answers already given?
That is the question I'm asking you.
Could you believe them solely on their testimony, or would you need external, objective, corroborating evidence?
You just contradicted yourself, big time.
First you state, you would be more likely to question a non-Christian.
Then, you state, it is not about the person.
Try again.
That is the question I'm asking you.
Could you believe them solely on their testimony, or would you need external, objective, corroborating evidence?
Many people can. But me, not likely.
...
The same for me and claims of gods, when they lack external, objective, corroborating evidence.
When there is no evidence, that would be a valid criticism. You criticized it as a lack of evidence.
Not if you are doing it right. That is a rejection.
I may doubt the evidence. That is discussion, and is more scientific.
You need to know that in science, anything can be an evidence of any other thing.
