Yeah, it was really a good episode. But I don't think they sprinkled enough of the other cast in like they normally do. But Locke was really great with his scene with his Father and Mother. How sad. I keep thinking in my mind, did I miss some cryptic clue last night. I know they always throw them in there, what was the clue last night?

You know I was wondering the same thing. There was a part when Locke was in a flashback, and he was driving up to the house. The camera angle was unusual, it was like you were in the car with Locke and as he drove up to the house he pulled in and parked behind a car. The camera angle was so different that I thought maybe they were showing us something. I wondered if it was the car's license plate but I didnt get to see it.

I never understood "Theresa's falling up the stairs. Theresa's Falling down the stairs.". What was that all about???

Boones Nanny(Teresa) fell down the stairs when he was 6. He would have the Nanny go up and down the stairs just to be mean.
It sounded like a childs taunting.

I thought I had the wrong name when I posted earlier.
Oh, I guess my post earlier didn't make it. The sight went down
just after I posted thought I had made it in.

This episode was pretty isolated to Locke and Boone.

What benefits of the plane wreckage?

Fuel in the tanks for signal fire.
Radio components
working batteries?
generator?
Maybe tools?
Maybe something that will float?

Keep Charlie away from the plane though.
He might have trouble staying clean.

Another firearm on the island. Another 9mm.

Locke was having trouble with his legs, but he carried Boone with out trouble.
So is he going to be paralyzed again or did it pass?

The wounds looked critical. To bad to treat on the island. I do believe Boone
will be the third person(in this group) to die since the crash.(Ethan, and the Air marshal)

I think Jack was unprofessional in handling Sawyer's headaches.
The history, if important, should have been done in private. Not in front of
Kate. Not to say it wasn't deserved, but Doctors know better then to
abuse their postion like this.

What is up with the light on the hatch? After all the trouble and all the attempts to open it.

Jack is going to be busy next episode. Treating Boone and having Claire giving birth.(or going into labor)

Looking forward to it.

I would agree except Sawyer didn't want to be there in the first place. Kate forced the issue with both of them. Jack joked about dr/patient confidentiality anyway.
Sawyer gonna sue him over it ;) ?

I think Kate will be delivering the baby.

Sun will probably be useful in delivering a baby, too...with all her knowledge of natural herbs and plants and stuff...

I was wondering about Locke's legs...
This might sound silly, but hear me out. Does anyone think that in order for Locke's legs to be ok, other people have to die or be injured?
I mean think about it, his legs were ok when all those people died. That must have bought him some time.
Then at least three more people have died since the crash- more time.
People have also been injured, like charlie, sayid..and didnt Micheal hurt himself at some point?
Everyone has been basically ok for a little while, and now his paralysis is coming on again...until Boone got hurt badly, and then his legs were back.
What do you think?

It's a good theory.

You're not involved with witchcraft... are you?

After Locke's dream, he said that the island fixed his legs, and was now trying to take them away again. He said this was a test of their faith and commitment, and that the island - through his dream - was telling them they had to find that plane. I think that once they found the plane, the island stopped messing with his legs. That's why he was able to carry Boone back to camp. They did what the island wanted.

So many questions though. Whoever Boone talked to on the radio heard him! They repeated the flight number of the plane back to him. So what's going to come of that? Locke didn't tell anyone when he got back to camp that they had even found this plane. No one knows about the hatch. No one knows about the distress call. He's keeping all these secrets from everyone that could be really important to them. There are so many things on that plane, as Billnew said, that could be very helpful. And knowing that a distress call went out, and was heard, they could be starting signal fires or something (notice I get most of my knowledge about desert islands from my years watching Gilligan ;)).

I suspect Boone will end up dying. I liked the idea someone here mentioned of one person out (Boone) and one person in (Claire's new baby). That might tie in to the numbers somehow. I don't think we know exactly how many people are on the island at this point do we?

That light coming on inside the hatch... I want to know so much more about it. And I have a feeling we won't find anything out next week because the action will be revolving around Boone and Claire.

Definitely keep Charlie away from that plane -- although I think that's going to turn into a plot point down the line.

I saved the episode on my TiVo so I could watch it again today. If anyone wants to know something specific, let me know and I'll check it out. When I watch it, I'll look for that scene of Locke pulling in to the house with the strange camera angle and see if there's anything to notice there.

Still can't wait till next week....

Oh, btw... the season finale has been expanded from an hour and a half, to two hours (yay!). They are putting it up against the American Idol finale. I don't know about anyone else, but I'll be TiVo'ing AI and watching Lost live!

One more thing, then I promise I'll stop posting ;)

Any significance to Locke's mother telling him that he was an immaculate conception... and then the heroin being stored in those Virgin Mary statues??
