Could anyone tell if Claire was still pregnant? It was dark in the jungle and the camera seemed to go directly to her face.

She was looking a bit thinner to me... like she no longer had a baby in her.

She said (when Jack thought she was crazy and having hallucinations) that they wanted her baby. Maybe they got it and let her go.

This show is turning out to be a lot more supernatural than I would've expected.

When I first saw the previews for the show, I was thinking to myself, "Okay, how long can a show about people stranded on an island last? Besides, we've already had Gilligan's Island"

Boy was I wrong. They've really hit the nail on the head with this show.

And Walt has some sort of psychic thing where he can see things and make them happen (the bird). Perhaps there is a connection between that and the signifigance of that polar bear in the comic.

Exactly. And imagine what other things might happen based on the drawings that Michael gave him... maybe there's a drawing of a raft? Let's see if one magically appears.

I don't think it showed her belly...all I noticed was her dirty face and how scared she looked. Poor girl.

LOL, and shame on Charlie for reading her diary, BUT in that kind of situation, how could you NOT read it??? I mean, she's pregnant, disappears suddenly, missing for a week, writes all her thoughts and dreams down...do you think MAYBE it might lend a clue as to what happened to her??? LOL, I just really thought that part was rather silly. Hehe...Sawyer's starting to grow on me, jerk though he may be. "Sawyer, you didn't read it, did you!?!? LOL, well, whoop-dee-doo, Miss Robbed-a-Bank-Shot-the-guy-I-love Felon!

I thought it was so funny how Charlie just kept picking up the diary and then putting it down, debating wether or not he should read it. But yeah, how could he not read it? This will most likely be a clue to what happened to her with the dream about the black rock and everything. And yeah, that was funny how Sawyer was like "I just hadn't gotten a chance to read it yet." When asked the question "Sawyer, you didn't read it, did you?" What were they expecting anyways? Why would he not read it?!

Not saying she is a dog, but they were only talking in normal voices until they heard her.

With this show nothing is beyond the realm of possiblity.


I think you could be on the right track. Not magical powers but something ties them together. Locke was a paraplegic, Walt has somekind of powers, Jack was transporting his Fathers body back, Charlie a bandmember trying to be someone,
Claire a furture mother with a stalker, Michael wants to be a father, Sawyer wants to be good, They all have reasons to survive. Unfinished business.

Going with the supernatural theme here...
Maybe they're were all looking for an escape from something.

Jack - escape from his father's influence and the pressures of medicine.
Kate - escape from the consequences of her actions, prison.
Claire - escape from her stalker.
Locke - escape from the confines of his wheelchair.
Boone - escape from Shannon's hold on him.
Sawyer - escape from the pain of his childhood.
Sayid - escape from the guilt of the horrible things he's seen and done.
Sun - escape from her marriage and oppression.
Charlie - escape from everything.

LOL, I'm not sure what Jin, Michael, Walt, and Hurley could be trying to escape from.

Blah, blah, blah..I'm rambling...and probably not going anywhere with it.

Personally, I really can't wait to see Hurley's story. Any thoughts about him?

Hey, that's an idea! It's a start - now figure out why they're on this particular island, lol. Let's see if I can help:

Jin - escaping the oppressiveness of his servitude of Sun's father
Michael - escaping the guilt of his absentee parenting
Walt - escaping the situation he was thrown in to by the man he thought was his father

Hurley? Beats me. The only clue I can think of so far is from a few episodes ago when he said something like, "back home, I'm known as somewhat of a warrior myself." It should definitely be a good story, at least.

Hurley is a ... Dungeons & Dragons warrior? An eating contest warrior? A Civil War re-enacting warrior? The possibilities are endless. And we have to wait a long time before his story comes up, too.

Yeah, I agree...I doubt she's the heartless person her backstory so far makes her out to be. It'll probably be something like she was blackmailed into it and she was forced to do those things against her will or something that will end up making her seem noble.

Also there was a screenshot in the ABC message boards, and you can see that claire is still pregnant. (unless it was doctored) I hope she still is. I don't want any creepy baby killing stuff going on.

Walt has powers...that's obvious. My wife thinks that he killed his mom with his powers, I disagree. Any thoughts on that?
