Walt has powers...that's obvious. My wife thinks that he killed his mom with his powers, I disagree. Any thoughts on that?

Actually, I was thinking that Walt's mother (Susan?) had powers. She and Michael fight on the phone when she tells him about Brian, and immediately after hanging up he's hit by a car (after her possibly wishing him dead?), then she's able to talk him in to giving up Walt for adoption. Something to think about, anyway!

What makes you think Walt has powers?
He was looking at the bird book when Brian and his Mom were ignoring him ("You're not listening to me. I said, YOU'RE NOT LISTENING TO ME!")...and then a dead bird flies into their sliding glass doors.

Plus, Brian said something about it when he told Michael he didn't want Walt...he said something like, "There's just something about him...strange things happen when he's around." Or something to that effect anyway.

Plus, the polar bears seem to show up whenever he looks at that comic book.

I think it's some sort of telepathy that happens when he's angry or something. But, yeah, he's definitely got some kind of powers.

And I think Locke knows it...remember the conversation when he told Michael not to treat him like a child?

Hey, kids.

Things that should be known before reading this:
1) I am moving in 4 days and am doing any- and everything to keep from packing up my entire life into 20 boxes.
2) I have the biggest crush ever on approximately every member of Lost.
3) I am a giant loser.

Thus, I present you: Lost links galore.

http://www.thefuselage.com/ - The Fuselage - The official site of the creative team behind Lost. (JJ Abrams, etc.)

http://www.lost-media.com/ - Lost-Media - Tons of great pictures/avatars/wallpapers/etc. here.

http://lost-forum.com/index.php - Lost-Forum - Run by the folks at Lost-Media. In case you don't gab enough about Lost here. The Fuselage also has a message board.

From lost-media, you can go to several communities on places like Livejournal, if you're interested in more avatars. :)

Also, spoiler for the next ep:
Claire is still pregnant.

Did you also notice that it's the same kind of bird that he was looking at in his bird book?

And also, at the beginning when Locke was teaching him how to throw a knife and told him to use his "mind's eye"... and then he did it? Walt said, "It was so cool! I felt like I could actually see it in my mind!"

Then when Michael showed up, Locke told him that his son was "different".

**Sorry, USincognito, does this speculation count as a spoiler you'd rather not see?**

I saw this post a while back, but just haven't gotten around to posting any comments of late, partially due to a crackdown on Internet surfing at work, partially due to to waiting for new episodes... and new speculation fodder.

My one and only speculative comment is on Locke's Box. My suspicion - it's an escape hatch. From where? Who knows. To where? Who knows. Well, obviously JJ Abrams knows, but you understand what I'm saying.

Arriving home from work last night I went to my mailbox to get my TV Guide and had my worst fears and greatest hope about Lost confirmed - We'll be waiting another week until February sweeps for the next new episode, and Claire's exposition (which I missed) will be re-aired and TV Guide continutes to pimp Lost to it's readers.

I can't do it justice, so if you're in line at the grocery store and see Sayid or Locke on the cover - purchase it to get the current low down on the 14 main characters, some possible spoilage and a recap of the first 14 shows. Oh, and if you get Kate, instead of the Sawyer my subscription graced me with, please scan and post it (thanks).

I don't want to go into details, but there's a group photo of the main 14 characters and a subscript that contians the details about which designer/store provided the clothes they were wearing. Everyone is dressed cool, but I felt bad that Jorge Garcia (Hurley) was wearing Kramer's Big and Tall.

Sorta spoiler about the hatch. :)
The answer to the hatch will be revealed in Hurley's episode, which is also temporarily slated to be the season finale, or episode 18. Something happened to Hurley before he got on the plane, that is being quoted as being something that "a lot of Americans want to happen to them," and having to do with money. The hatch also has to do with the money, in some form or another.

Kate: http://www.tvguide.com/tv/coverstory/gallery.asp?picID=2 Sooo hott.

she seems not to be a virtuous woman. there really should be more females for that sland though

You mean Kate the character or Evangeline Lily the actress? And I agree, there should be more women, but I'd like to see a female Hurley and Locke.
