There is a lot debate today on losing one’s salvation. I’ve decided to boil it down to 2 simple steps to make it easy for you.

1. Do something that causes you to lose it.
Now, I don’t know what that “something” could be because Paul never talked about it and since Paul is the apostle to the Gentiles and the revealer of the body of Christ to us today then he would be the one to tell us what to do to lose it. Since Paul spent 13 epistles expounding Christ and justification surely he would spend some time on how to lose it!

2. Undo all that God did at your salvation.
See how easy it is! Now, let’s go down a simple list of things that God did and all you have to do is make this list your check list and mark them all as you undo them. OK put your tennis shoes on and let’s go!!!

1) Get God to un-forgive you – Eph. 1:7

2) Get God to un-redeem you - Rom. 3:24

3) Get God to un-circumcise you – Col. 2:13

4) Get God to un-adopt you – Rom. 8:15

5) Get God to un-seat you – Eph. 2:6

6) Get God to un-sanctify you – I Cor. 6:11

7) Get God to un-glorify you – Rom. 8:30

8) Get God to un-seal you – Eph. 1:13

9) Get God to un-justify you – Rom. 3:24; 8:30

10) Get God to un-bless you – Eph. 1:3

11) Get God to un-bury you – Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12

12) Get God to un-raise you – Eph. 2:6

13) Get God to un-quicken you – Eph. 2:1

14) Get God to take Christ out of you – Col. 1:27

15) Get God to take you out of Christ’s physical body – Eph. 5:30

And a few more that I failed to present here.

Now, you se how simple that was – if you can undo all that God has done for you then you are free and clear once again. Then when you “repent” and get right then all the above 15 things will happen again. Then when you “sin it away” again then you can undo it all over again! My what a life! About as confusing as a termite in a yoyo/

Yes, I know all those verses in Matthew (before the cross) and all those verses in Hebrews and James (doctrinally during the tribulation) and of course Revelation (during the 7 year tribulation where the body of Christ is not present anyway) – Yes, I’ve seen all those verses, had them thrown out of context at me for over 20 years now.

Until you can show me how a blood-bought, redeemed, regenerated saint in this age can lose all that God has done for him then I might give you a listen. Until then I will stay secure in Christ for all eternity – glory!!!

May God richly bless

Preach it brother! But there is the one un-forgivable sin. I have heard conjecture that believer cannot commit this sin, but seen very little evidence for that conjecture. So suppose a believer could blaspheme the name of the Holy Spirit, as the sin in unforgivable you would be able to get back in grace. This is the ONLY way I can losing salvation. However being human I only know in part. It could well be true that a believer cannot commit this singular and only unforgivable sin, if this is true then you are 100% right, if a believer can commit the sin then there is a way you can fall from grace, but indeed there is only one if any!

Fleshh99 - Are you referring to Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:?

If this is the case - look at the next verse: Mark 3:30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

If this is what you are referring to then you are safe for this could only happen in the Lord's time - their sin - Telling the Lord to His face that He had an unclean spirit or that he was doing the work in the power of the devil. Since you and I cannot face the Lord to His face and say this then we are safe. Glorrrrrriiiiiieeee!

You and I would disagree on that then. The Holy Spirit is seperate from Christ and not used to refer to him, so in that I cannot see it being applicable to Christ. I am working on getting the information I had imparted to me on it in the past. Oh and yes that is what I am referring to.

Flesh - one other thought to seriously consider - this all took place before Calvary - before Christ shed His blood - if this could happen today surely Paul would have warned us of this but yet it is brought up only one time and this is before the cross. I belive we have to be real careful of taking kngdom age truth and bringing it in on the body of Christ.

Also, if my salvation was depedent upon my "NOT" doing such a thing then I would be trusting in me to keep my salvation thus placing the emphasis on me and not Christ who did the work.

I can see your point, but Christ spoke of the Holy Spirit before it was imparted to us. Like I said I am not sure that a Christian can commit this offense, in fact if I remember right it was proven to me that a Christian could not. I just have to find the notes :) I agree with your original post I just wanted to toss in a point that could be debatable as that is my nature. So I guess my assertion is that prior to accepting Jesus Christ as the crucified, resurrected Son of the Living God that there maybe something you can do that can stop you from ever being in the place spiritually to accept that. I do not think that you can lose Salvation. That would be arrogance actually, to think that I could undo God's work and give back His gifts. Praise God that we are eternally saved.

Now where are those dadgum notes?!?

I just have to add that is by Grace we are saved through faith and not by works lest any man should boast. (If I am gonna be accused of preaching I may as well preach a bit)
OK let's go one step further - according to the above verse along with Rom. 3:22 and Gal. 2:16 that faith in Eph. 2:8,9 is not ours anyway - it is Christ's. So, the faith that justifies is not even our own it is Christ's......
Well glorrrrriiiieeeee! So much for the argument that our faith has to be strong to be justified!

Later - your preach

i try to reject the idea of slavation as something that a person a get when they accept Jesus, think about that, if you assume becuase some where along the line a person came to the relization of what Jesus did and was willing to put their life on it does not mean that is granted untill they die, your slavation is a day to day, hour to hour, mintue by mintue work that is never there nor ever gone, it is an abstract, if at any point you think you are going to heaven you have attempted to make God's judgement on your soul for your slef, that is why i don't pary that i was save, yet to be saved because i don't know what God's jugdement upon my soul is going to be, i pray for grace and hope that will save my soul, not that a date that i came to the relization, fell to my knees and prayed is going to be enough

Catholic doctrine. Are you so arrogant as to think that you can sully the work Christ has done? I am not that arrogant, not by any stretch. If works cannot save us then works cannot un-save us. This is plain as day. The Bible never once mentions becoming unsaved. This is an extra-biblical teaching and should be held to the clarifying light of Scripture where it will prove to be false.

Perhaps someone as smart as yourself could explain these few verses?

"See then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness; otherwise you too will be cut off" - Romans 11:22.

also please explain Hebrews 10:26-29 and 2 Peter 2:20-21 for us ignorant Catholics please.
Thanks! :priest:

Do not resort to personal attacks. Besides being a rule violation, it is a debating error called "Ad Hominem", or "to the person". This means that instead of addressing the ideas we attack the person. You lose points for this in a formal debate. Here, you just get a warning. Three such warnings will get you banned. I don't like to ban people so please let me watch football in peace! :)

Actually no. If you read the scriptures in light of the apostolic tradition that was left to us upon the death of the last apostle… the scriptures will support this very much so. Also read the ECF. They also believed that through mortal sin one can lose their salvation.

"And pray ye without ceasing in behalf of other men; for there is hope of the repentance, that they may attain to God. For 'cannot he that falls arise again, and he may attain to God.' "
Ignatius of Antioch,To the Ephesians,10(A.D. 110),in ANF,I:53-54

"Watch for your life's sake. Let not your lamps be quenched, nor your loins unloosed; but be ye ready, for ye know not the hour in which our Lord cometh. But often shall ye come together, seeking the things which are befitting to your souls: for the whole time of your faith will not profit you, if ye be not made perfect in the last time. "
Didache,16(A.D. 140),in ANF,VII:382

"And as many of them, he added, as have repented, shall have their dwelling in the tower. And those of them who have been slower in repenting shall dwell within the walls. And as many as do not repent at all, but abide in their deeds, shall utterly perish...Yet they also, being naturally good, on hearing my commandments, purified themselves, and soon repented. Their dwelling, accordingly, was in the tower. But if any one relapse into strife, he will be east out of the tower, and will lose his life."
Hermas,The Shephard,3:8:7(A.D. 155),in ANF,II:41-42

"[T]hat eternal fire has been prepared for him as he apostatized from God of his own free-will, and likewise for all who unrepentant continue in the apostasy, he now blasphemes, by means of such men, the Lord who brings judgment [upon him] as being already condemned, and imputes the guilt of his apostasy to his Maker, not to his own voluntary disposition."
Justin Martyr,fragment in Irenaeus' Against Heresies,5:26:1(A.D. 156),in ANF,I:555

"Now, in the beginning the spirit was a constant companion of the soul, but the spirit forsook it because it was not willing to follow. Yet, retaining as it were a spark of its power, though unable by reason of the separation to discern the perfect, while seeking for God it fashioned to itself in its wandering many gods, following the sophistries of the demons. But the Spirit of God is not with all, but, taking up its abode with those who live justly, and intimately combining with the soul, by prophecies it announced hidden things to other souls."
Tatian the Syrian,To the Greeks,13(A.D. 175),in ANF,II:71

"Christ shall not die again in behalf of those who now commit sin, for death shall no more have dominion over Him; but the Son shall come in the glory of the Father, requiring from His stewards and dispensers the money which He had entrusted to them, with usury; and from those to whom He had given most shall He demand most. We ought not, therefore, as that presbyter remarks, to be puffed up, nor be severe upon those of old time, but ought ourselves to fear, lest perchance, after [we have come to] the knowledge of Christ, if we do things displeasing to God, we obtain no further forgiveness of sins, but be shut out from His kingdom. And therefore it was that Paul said, 'For if [God] spared not the natural branches, [take heed] lest He also spare not thee, who, when thou wert a wild olive tree, wert grafted into the fatness of the olive tree, and wert made a partaker of its fatness.' "
Irenaeus,Against Heresies,4:27:2(A.D. 180),in ANF,I:499

"But some think as if God were under a necessity of bestowing even on the unworthy, what He has engaged (to give); and they turn His liberality into slavery. But if it is of necessity that God grants us the symbol of death, then He does so unwilling. But who permits a gift to be permanently retained which he has granted unwillingly? For do not many afterward fall out of (grace)? is not this gift taken away from many?"
Tertullian,On Repentance,6(A.D. 204),in ANF,III:661

"Confession is the beginning of glory, not the full desert of the crown; nor does it perfect our praise, but it initiates our dignity; and since it is written, 'He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved,' whatever has been before the end is a step by which we ascend to the summit of salvation, not a terminus wherein the full result of the ascent is already gained. "
Cyprian,Unity of the Church,21(A.D. 251),in ANF,V:428

"Therefore, my beloved, we also have received of the Spirit of Christ, and Christ dwelleth in us, as it is written that the Spirit said this through the month of the Prophet: --I will dwell in them and will walk in them. Therefore let us prepare our temples for the Spirit of Christ, and let us not grieve it that it may not depart from us. Remember the warning that the Apostle gives us:--Grieve not the Holy Spirit whereby ye have been sealed unto the day of redemption. For from baptism do we receive the Spirit of Christ ... And whatever man there is that receives the Spirit from the water (of baptism) and grieves it, it departs from him until he dies, and returns according to its nature to Christ, and accuses that man of having grieved it."
Aphrahat,Demonstrations,6:14(A.D. 345),in NPNF2,VIII:371-372

"Thou art made partaker of the Holy Vine. Well then, if thou abide in the Vine, thou growest as a fruitful branch; but if thou abide not, thou wilt be consumed by the fire. Let us therefore bear fruit worthily. God forbid that in us should be done what befell that barren fig-tree, that Jesus come not even now and curse us for our barrenness."
Cyril of Jerusalem,Catechetical Lectures,I:4(A.D. 350),NPNF2,VII:7

"For what the Word has by nature, as I said, in the Father, that He wishes to be given to us through the Spirit irrevocably; which the Apostle knowing, said, 'Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?' for 'the gifts of God' and 'grace of His calling are without repentance.' It is the Spirit then which is in God, and not we viewed in our own selves; and as we are sons and gods because of the Word in us, so we shall be in the Son and in the Father, and we shall be accounted to have become one in Son and in Father, because that that Spirit is in us, which is in the Word which is in the Father. When then a man falls from the Spirit for any wickedness, if he repent upon his fall, the grace remains irrevocably to such as are willing; otherwise he who has fallen is no longer in God (because that Holy Spirit and Paraclete which is in God has deserted him), but the sinner shall be in him to whom he has subjected himself, as took place in Saul's instance; for the Spirit of God departed from him and an evil spirit was afflicting him."
Athanasius,Discourse Against the Arians,3:25(A.D. 362),in NPNF2,IV:407

"Clerics who are guilty of the sin unto death are degraded from their order, but not excluded from the communion of the laity."
Basil,To Amphilochius,Letter 199:32(A.D. 375),in NPNF2,VIII:237

"This temple is holier than that; for it glistened not with gold and silver, but with the grace of the Spirit, and in place of the ark and the cherubim, it had Christ, and His Father, and the Paraclete seated within. But now all is changed, and the temple is desolate, and bare of its former beauty and comeliness, unadorned with its divine and unspeakable adornments, destitute of all security and protection; it has neither door nor bolt, and is laid open to all manner of soul-destroying and shameful thoughts; and if the thought of arrogance or fornication, or avarice, or any more accursed than these, wish to enter in there is no one to hinder them; whereas formerly, even as the Heaven is inaccessible to all these, so also was the purity of thy soul."
John Chrysostom,To the Fallen Theodore,Letter 1(A.D. 378),in NPNF1,IX:91

"But these sins were not after Baptism, you will say. Where is your proof? Either prove it--or refrain from condemning; and if there be any doubt, let charity prevail. But Novatus, you say, would not receive those who lapsed in the persecution. What do you mean by this? If they were unrepentant he was right; I too would refuse to receive those who either would not stoop at all or not sufficiently, and who would refuse to make their amendment counterbalance their sin; and when I do receive them, I will assign them their proper place; but if he refused those who wore themselves away with weeping, I will not imitate him."
Gregory of Nazianzen,Oration on the Holy Lights,39:19(A.D. 381),in NPNF2,VII:359

"These are capital sins, brethren, these are mortal."
Pacian of Barcelona,Penance,4(A.D. 385),in JUR,II:143

"Let us admonish each other. Let us correct each other, that we may not go to the other world as debtors, and then, needing to borrow of others, suffer the fate of the foolish virgins, and fall from immortal salvation."
John Chrysostom,Concerning Statues,21(A.D. 387),in NPNF1,IX:363

"Some offences are light, some heavy. It is one thing to owe ten thousand talents, another to owe a farthing. We shall have to give account of the idle word no less than of adultery; but it is not the same thing to be put to the blush, and to be put upon the rack, to grow red in the face and to ensure lasting torment. Do you think I am merely expressing my own views? Hear what the Apostle John says: 'He who knows that his brother sinneth a sin not unto death, let him ask, and he shall give him life, even to him that sinneth not unto death. But he that hath sinned unto death, who shall pray for him? 'You observe that if we entreat for smaller offences, we obtain pardon: if for greater ones, it is difficult to obtain our request: and that there is a great difference between sins.' "
Jerome,Against Jovianus,2:30(A.D. 393),in NPNF2,VI:411

"And, consequently, both those who have not heard the gospel, and those who, having heard it and been changed by it for the better, have not received perseverance, and those who, having heard the gospel, have refused to come to Christ, that is, to believe on Him, since He Himself says, 'No man cometh unto me, except it were given him of my Father,' and those who by their tender age were unable to believe, but might be absolved from original sin by the sole layer of regeneration, and yet have not received this laver, and have perished in death: are not made to differ from that lump which it is plain is condemned, as all go from one into condemnation."
Augustine,On Rebuke and Grace,12(A.D. 427),in NPNF2,V:476

"The faith of these, which worketh by love, either actually does not fail at all, or, if there are any whose faith fails, it is restored before their life is ended, and the iniquity which had intervened is done away, and perseverance even to the end is allotted to them. But they who are not to persevere, and who shall so fall away from Christian faith and conduct that the end of this life shall find them in that case, beyond all doubt are not to be reckoned in the number of these, even in that season wherein they are living well and piously. For they are not made to differ from that mass of perdition by the foreknowledge and predestination of God, and therefore are not called according to God's purpose, and thus are not elected"
Augustine,On Rebuke and Grace,16(A.D. 427),in NPNF2,V:478

"It is, indeed, to be wondered at, and greatly to be wondered at, that to some of His own children--whom He has regenerated in Christ--to whom He has given faith, hope, and love, God does not give perseverance also."
Augustine,On Rebuke and Grace,18(A.D. 427),in NPNF2,V:478

"Let the inquirer still go on, and say, 'Why is it that to some who have in good faith worshipped Him He has not given to persevere to the end?' Why except because he does not speak falsely who says, 'They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, doubtless they would have continued with us.' Are there, then, two natures of men? By no means. If there were two natures there would not be any grace, for there would be given a gratuitous deliverance to none if it were paid as a debt to nature. But it seems to men that all who appear good believers ought to receive perseverance to the end. But God has judged it to be better to mingle some who would not persevere with a certain number of His saints, so that those for whom security from temptation in this life is not desirable may not be secure."
Augustine,On the Gift of Perseverance,19(A.D. 429),in NPNF2,V:531-532

"The manifold mercy of God so assists men when they fall, that not only by the grace of baptism but also by the remedy of penitence is the hope of eternal life revived, in order that they who have violated the gifts of the second birth, condemning themselves by their own judgment, may attain to remission of their crimes, the provisions of the Divine Goodness having so ordained that GOD'S indulgence cannot be obtained without the supplications of priests. For the Mediator between GOD and men, the Man Christ Jesus, has transmitted this power to those that are set over the Church that they should both grant a course of penitence to those who confess, and, when they are cleansed by wholesome correction admit them through the door of reconciliation to communion in the sacraments."
Pope Leo the Great[regn A.D. 440-461],To Theodore,Epistle 108:2(A.D. 452),NPNF2,XII:80

I agree with Flesh99 whole-heartedly.

I believe one thinks they can lose their salvation because they fully do not understand what happened to them at salvation. The issue is how is a man justified before God. Once this is settled then one should have no trouble with eternal security. Since Shelb5 quoted what appears to be official Catholic Doctrine or at least writings from the Church Fathers then I think it would be only fair to present what I believe about justification from the scriptures (Please correct me if I have misrepresented you in this.). I did read through the material and I trust you will do the same to my post – thank you in advance.

I would like to break it down to four areas:

1. What Is Justification

2. Where Do I Go In the Bible To Get Justification?

3. My Duty After Justification

4. Closing Remarks

I. What is Justification?

A. The Problem

I was born a sinner -Rom. 3:23, dead in trespasses in sin - Eph. 2:1, at enmity with God -Rom. 8, blinded - II Cor. 4:4), dead to spiritual things - I Cor. 2:14), not seeking God - Rom. 3:8 and on my way to a lake of fire because of the sin that dwelt in me - Rom. 5:12; Rev. 20:15. There was nothing I could do to get out of this mess - Rom. 4:5; Eph. 2:8,9; ***. 3:5

B. The Provision
Because of sin God has to judge sin and the penalty for sin. Something or someone has to be the sin payment in order for man to be redeemed from death in hell for eternity. In the OT God provided the sacrifices so their sins could be overlooked for a time. But God is gracious in that He desires to display His love and mercy. Man cannot meet the requirements that God demands -***. 3:5; Rom. 3:10-12; Isa. 64:6; Psa. 39:5. The law cannot redeem man - Rom. 8:3; Gal. 2:21; 3:11,12. God has to provide a blood substitute and it has to be perfect blood to redeem imperfect man - Acts 20:28. The only way to redeem man is to have a perfect man redeem imperfect man and that man is the man Christ Jesus who became our sin substitute on Cavalry - Rom. 5:8; II Cor. 5:21. When Christ hung on the cross he became sin for us. The wrath of God that poured out on Christ should have been for us but Christ took our place - II Cor. 5:21. Andrias Tobias in the 1600’s said, “All God’s wrath was poured out on Christ so there is none left for the believer”.

C. The Deliverance

Then one day I was given the gospel - I Cor. 15:1-5; God took the blinders off - Rom. 10:17; II Cor. 4:5,6; God gave me the faith of Jesus Christ - Eph. 2:8,9; Rom. 3:22; Gal. 2:16; enabled me to believe - Eph. 1:13; regenerated me - ***. 3:5; reconciled me -Rom. 5:10; spiritually circumcised me - Col. 2:10-12; sealed me - Eph. 1:13; put me into the body of Christ - Eph. 4:5; Col. 2:10-12; glorified me - Rom. 8:30; redeemed me - Col. 1:14; Gal. 3:13; made me an adopted son - Rom. 8:15; made me accepted in the beloved - Eph. 1:6; blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ - Eph. 1:3; forgave me - Eph. 1:7; raised me up - Eph. 2:6; made me bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh - Eph. 5:30; gave me an inheritance - Eph. 1:11, came in to me - Col. 1:27, and completed me - Col. 2:10 and a few more that we don’t have to go into now.

II. Where Do I Go in the Bible To Get Justification?

First of all let me make something very clear for I will seek to head off something before I go any further – I believe All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: - I believe all the Bible – I believe the King James Bible I have in my hands is inspired down to the punctuation, italicized words, and chapter headings. I do not believe the writers of the Bible were inspired but what they put down, as directed by the Holy Ghost, was inspired. I do not believe the King James translators were inspired but what they put down by God’s providential hand was and is inspired (and please do not seek to point out the arguments against the AV1611 for I have heard them all and they don’t keep me awake long enough to yawn.). I read the entire Bible and believe the entire Bible. The reason for the above is that others and myself have been accuse of using just portions of the Bible and throwing out the rest.
I understand that the entire Bible is for me but………not necessarily written to me. I understand that first of all I have to find out what is doctrine for me and for others first. Illustration – how many of you have been to the Tabernacle lately to sacrifice a lamb? How many of you have sat down lately and pigged out on some good fried catfish – yum! How many of you have been rebellious children - Duet. 21:18,19? You say you don’t have to worry about it – good, things change don’t they and aren’t you glad for it. God deals differently with different people in different ages. I am not Abraham looking for a city. I am not a Jew under the OT law anymore. I am not a Jew in the gospels looking for my Messiah. I am not a Jew in the OT, the gospels, or the early part of Acts looking for a physical kingdom. In the OT the Jew had to mix faith with the law and trust God to overlook his sins based upon how he observed the law. The OT Jew knew nothing of Calvary – all he knew that one-day a king would come and bring in a kingdom.
Now, Jesus shows up one day preaching the gospel of the kingdom (not the gospel of the grace of God which Paul preached). The Jews’ duty was to believe Jesus was the messiah and get baptized to show they believed it. They, even the disciples, knew nothing about Christ dying for sins (see Luke 18:32-34). Christ dies, is buried, and is raised from the dead. In Acts 2 Peter preaches repentance regarding the Jews rejection and murder of Jesus but even he at that time he does not understand what happened at Calvary regarding sins and forgiveness.

When Israel officially rejects Christ in Acts 7 then God calls out a murdering Pharisee, regenerates him, and gives him a new commission that no one else got – he (Paul) was to preach the gospel of the grace of God to both Jew and Gentile. After several appearances of Christ to Paul (Acts 26:16; II Tim. 1:10) then Paul preached forgiveness based upon the finished work of Jesus Christ and that a man was justified by the faith of Jesus Christ without the deeds of the law.

During his second prison stay he wrote the prison epistles and because of Eph., Phil., Col. I& II Timothy we understand what Jesus gave to Paul in regards to the church and how to live because of what we are in Christ (Eph. 4:1). The gospel that saves comes from Paul – Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose again the third day (Acts 16:31). Why would one go to the OT or the gospels (before Christ was even crucified), grab a message that was meant for Israel under a kingdom gospel to get the plan of salvation for today!!!???!!! Just go to Paul for he got his message from Christ so what Paul speaks are essentially the words of Christ.

III. My Duty After Justification

Real clear – walk worthy - Eph. 4:1; live godly - ***. 2:12, be not conformed to this world - Rom. 12:2; study - II Tim. 2:15; pray - Phil. 4:6; forgive others - Eph. 4:32; love my wife (Eph. 5); witness - II Cor. 5:20; be thankful - I Thess. 5:18, and the list goes on and on. So I don’t just stop at believing for after believing and being saved the real work begins - Phil. 2:12.

IV. Closing Remarks

As you can see salvation is not dependent upon anything man can do. Man is justified by what Christ did at Calvary alone. Because he did nothing to earn salvation he can do nothing to lose what is not his. The work was not the sinners but Christ’s, the faith the sinner exercised was not his but Christ’s Rom. 3:22, Eph. 2:8,9, the sealing was not the sinners but Christ’s so what was left for man to do? All the sinner could do was to take God at His word that Christ did it all.

And anybody who thinks after reading the above thinks that he can still lose his salvation after all that Christ has done is just trusting in his own merits.. Yes, I have heard all the verses you use to teach one can lose his salvation but if you take what Paul says you are secure.

May God bless!
