Thinking tactically; it was a bizarre choice of targets. The area round Aldgate is a muslim majority area, so why hit it? To try and kill, main and upset British muslims? It make sno sense unless these people have no sympathies with British Muslims. British Muslims have no smpathy for them it seems

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4660411.stm

Have to tell you, that means nothing to Islamic terrorists, their theory is that all good muslim casualties will be in Paradise with Allah, anyway. Furthermore, that such should be honored and happy to die in the Islamic cause.

Do mulim insurgents in Iraq not murder their own muslim brothers left and right in that country? But that is fine, too. You see, only President Bush is to blame for all those deaths, not the insurgents, they are patriots. Get it?

We here in America rushed hastily into some legislation following 9/11, and we're still arguing about it.

I wonder what the consequences will be for GB now in that respect:(

I am sorry you do not have the wider perspective that allows one to comprehend anger and disgust are implicit in outrage and compassion for the victims and their families and the costs paid by Britain and the interruption of possibly thousands of lives in London alone and the horrible ramifications of this day all around the world for years to come and that the consequences and pain and suffering of these acts this morning are completely incalcuable. But try to get over the simplistic moralizations and remonstrances that are so not applicable here.

Love does not include loving the evil in this world, does it?

Anger is a part of it, I get that. Do you think I'm that cold as to not possess outrage that this happened?

But anger is not productive, there's no way around that. Anger destroys things, and does not help rebuild. Do not let the sun go down on your anger...that's from the Bible, unless I'm very much mistaken. I keep my anger to myself, because it does no good, rather channeling that energy into compassion and prayer for the victims.

Thank you for that...you're very right. I guess my way of dealing with anger is to try and do something productive. It helps dissipate it :)

They keep showing footage of people with bloodied faces.. I wish they wouldn't...

The face of your Savior, His entire body was bloodied, nails were driven into His hands and feet. Do you avoid thinking about that? He was more than innocent.

These British victims today were innocent. Try to share their suffering instead of turning away. To turn away from your fellow man's suffering is to turn away from the suffering of our Savior.

Very true and since when has righteous anger at an act of injustice against the innocent been a problem anyway! Today was meant to have been justice for the poor of Africa and that is what were pushing for with our Live 8 concerts and our pressure at G8 and vision for sport expressed in our Olympic bid. This act of barbarism stands in utter contrast to the good and positive things Britain has been doing recently and should only be condemned. Those who fail to condemn what is wrong in this case condone it and side with evil against good.

Yes.

Matthew 5:43-45 "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbour and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven."

Matthew 5:39 "But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also."

I think we must love the evildoer, and pray for them. That is the teaching of Jesus.

Please keep in mind the sensitivity of those who are affected by these series of terrorist attacks. Exercise restraint in discussing the "politics" of this event if you could please. If you want to debate the topic, create another thread on the subject in the appropriate forum.

Thank you.
