What race?
If you mena Muslims, they are of all races??? Plenty of caucasian (Indian/Pakastani/Bangladeshi/and pinkish) muslims in UK, also africans, some arabs, etc etc? Not a racial thing chaps.

You have to read between the lines sometimes. As a caucasian, what if I started giving links to every caucasian that denounced what happened today? Now is that truly news that is beneficial to everyone on this forum, or a cry for the benefit of the doubt for all caucasians that are not mass murderers?

:sigh: I posted those links because here and in other parts of CF I can't post in, like denomination specific forums, people were asking why no muslims had condemned the attacks yet. I can't post links to these posts, because I thin kthat's against CF rules, but there are quite a number of them.

Yes, but the problem is that people with darker skin tones will be held to blame by morons, regardless of religious and ethnic affiliation. Hence the urgent need for the Islamic and Hindu communities to stad united and condemn this, and for us to stand united. I am not going to b ein fear for my life if i walk the streets tonight.

It may be special pleading to highlight muslim condemnation, but is that not better than letting innocents suffer for something they abhor? We are all British. We should stand as one on this.

I only posted an example of the condemnations that were out there. Does every single muslim on earth need to send out a personalized letter condemning the attacks?

Would be very nice, thank you. Maybe a sympathy card or two would not be too far out of line.....see post below this......

Don't you see? Neither side is right. Maybe she was dishing it out earlier because people were accusing Muslims of not speaking out against the blasts. It's not about being PC. It's about understanding where people are coming from. And I agree that some (read: not all, not even many) Muslims seem to be defending themselves rather than speaking out against the attacks, which IMO is dishonest and disgraceful. But other Muslims are actively condemning the attacks. It all depends on who you're talking to.

This is not the place for arguments and anger.

I am sorry you do not have the wider perspective that allows one to comprehend anger and disgust are implicit in outrage and compassion for the victims and their families and the costs paid by Britain and the interruption of possibly thousands of lives in London alone and the horrible ramifications of this day all around the world for years to come and that the consequences and pain and suffering of these acts this morning are completely incalcuable. But try to get over the simplistic moralizations and remonstrances that are so not applicable here.

Love does not include loving the evil in this world, does it?

UK looking at the idea of having national ID cards as result of attack

All ready? If I had any power (and I don't, I'm just a mere poster on a message board), I would urge UK politicians to not rush into any legislation before they've read it and had a throrough change to debate it.

We here in America rushed hastily into some legislation following 9/11, and we're still arguing about it.
