Australian Muslims condemn attacks

ICV executive committee member Waleed Aly said that those involved in such terrorist acts could not claim any legitimate recourse in any religion.

Willo, I totally agree.

News is being used by "some members" for making personal gain in regards to a "certain race" that is being called upon in matter of terrorism.

What race?
If you mena Muslims, they are of all races??? Plenty of caucasian (Indian/Pakastani/Bangladeshi/and pinkish) muslims in UK, also africans, some arabs, etc etc? Not a racial thing chaps.

This is contrary to the repeated statements of solidarity by the majority of those of the Islamic faith, whose only quailification is to represent the absolute teachings of the Quran. These are not statements of condemnation as much as of apologetics and self-defense.
