Whales didn't come before land animals. They evolved from land animals, in a chain of fossils and genetics that is easily researched, if you had the time, compunction or even the slightest care to look for yourself.

But you won't do any of that at all. So have your grain of salt. Preferably on some fries.

They are simply Pentadactyl limbs.

Nothing more.

Meaning God created whales with Pentadactyl limbs on Day Five, then land animals with Pentadactyl limbs on Day Six.
