In another thread, -57 explained to me that life and its building blocks are way too complicated to have evolved. I don't understand why that is so. As this was off topic on that thread, -57 offered to come to this thread and explain why this is so. I look forward to hearing his explanation.

Evolution is Biology and the "Building Blocks" has to do with Chemistry. So different laws are at work. Complication has nothing to do with it. This may seem complicated for some people and for others it is not complicated at all.

That shows that it was written by men, not God.

Here we go again with Steve Wells and the Skeptics Bible. What did it do take you 2 or 3 minutes to produce that nonsense? The skeptics Bible has already been refuted but we could go through all of that again if you want to.

No, it's not a strawman, it's a fact.
The Bible claims that the Great Flood covered the world's tallest mountains by 15 cubits. That 685.8 metres. That is something that we do not see in the historical geological record, especially with regards to Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world, and certainly not with any of the mountains that exist in the Middle East.

Show us how the first motor protein was created ex nihlo.

We have observed DNA evolving so it specifies different proteins. But we have yet to see a full cell popping up out of nothing, which I believe is your alternative hypothesis.
