but I have this THING... concerning all types/forms/states of, offal

I love chicken, bacon, ham, gammon, Pork, beef,
and occasionally some veal
however, IT MUST ALL BE LEAN
and.... well done but... NOT incinerated


I hold offal as awful

in looking up the page that showed me the above image
I see, that chicken livers are turned into pet food on so many pages
only here and there did I read that restaurants will cook them for afficianados [sp]

and they are very welcome to them
I wouldn't dream of eating out of the dog's bowl

Sorry.... but, just the thought of it gives me a truly GREEN feeling

LOL dave they are eaten frequently in the states....my mom was from Texas and she also made fried green tomatoes (I love them) and she made scrambled eggs with brains once

During the war... peeps would do anything for a bit of MEAT
some manufacturers here will include the whole animal under the term 'BEEF'
vis. hoofs, bones, cartilage, tendons, veins and arteries
and the contents of the bowel get included also I wouldnt wonder

Black Sausage... also contains dried blood
amongst other puke making ingredients.....

enjoy....!!!
my dinner guests wouldn't find such material on their plates

I am going to wait on my email first ...They may have it close or my Walmart might order it...I doubt it, but I will ask...We used to have a mom and pop store that would of ordered it , but they closed last month...Probably because of Walmart.

THey are little quaint hometown stores...Usually run by a family...

I used-to love eating pork-pies
this is a chopped pork filling in a crusty pie case

A few years ago I bought two at a local shop in Bristol
confident, for reason of years of past enjoyment
I bit into one,
and had a mouthful of piecrust and 'meat' in my mouth that I couldnt chew
at-first it seemed like I had bone in my mouth
but when I removed it, I found it to be nylon-like
and about 2.5 x 3.5 cms in size
it was from a leg joint [knee/elbow]
I of course complained and received an apology
and also £5 for my trouble taken
in bringing the experience to their attention
an assurance that they had no-idea
HOW... it had bypassed their chopping machines

My view then was, what ?
were they expecting their machines to chop up
and I guess, that I concluded
that they were including more of the pig than I could swallow
I havent eaten them since
