CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not vampires! Well, let's see... They're skinny and short, wiry and incredibly strong, almost rabid. They're like sharks when it comes to the scent of blood, which is why my character will rarely eat meat and only during the day. Nearly balding, very gaunt and always rapaciously starving. Light burns their skin like acid and the most effective way to kill them is impaling their heart.

Do they have to sleep during the day? I just use vampires because thats what they seemed like to me...sorry

They don't sleep, exactly, though they could. Most likely they just hang out in dark skyscraper corners, in the subway, etc.

Very. You know the deep wells in The Time Machine? The character had a strong fear of those, and our characters were probably have the same fear of any dark place.

Argh. Time Machine was one of the books I had to read for an assignment for school, but I don't remember it that well. I think I remember the wells though.

Now my mind keeps saying that these things cannot enter houses which they weren't invited into...but thats traditional vampire myth...which they aren't. So I am assuming that these things could just bust down the doors and come get some of our heroes, right?

Certainly. Though not "bust" exactly... They wouldn't kick it down or ram their shoulder into it or anything. But the sheer weight of dozens piling against one door might do it. And their nails are wicked sharp like the beaks in The Birds.

So is Birds. Ummm... Birds is PG-13 and Psycho is R. I find that strange, honestly. It's my first and last R movie and it seemed more PG-13 than R. Check it up on screenit.com if you like.
