Of the 5300 Greek manuscripts we now know exist, that's a mere .01264150943 percent of the whole.

A little over one hundredth of a percent.

Beza: 6 mss, and his owm commentary

Stephens (Stephanos): 21 mss, plus Comp. Polyglot, Erasmus' work, 2 Latin versions

I have always said that the KJV has served the public well for 400 years, and provided Jesus don't return anytime soon, the KJV will serve Christians well for another 400 years.

But as shown, I have issues with statements as shown previously.

Yes Deacon I understand you are not throwing it out.

But if you have issues with the Textus Receptus then surely you must have issues with the Critcal Text?
In a side by side comparison it's hard to deny the Critical texts deletions pertaining to Jesus and his Divine Nature.

God's word is Scripture, regardless of translation. I say old only to contrast old King James from New King James (equally God's word)

It certainly doesn't need copyright. Nor does it cater to the common language of one generation over another.

I would never condemn anyone for choosing a preferred translation, and I'm sorry if I came across that way. Years ago, to better understand Genesis, I took up the task of hand writing the book, and I chose the KJV for that project. I still use that translation for some things.

I understand the frustration. None of us likes to hear the word being tarnished.

My frustration comes from having attended a church in the past where a pastor held up a non-KJV translation, called it a "piece of crap" and threw it across the room toward the trash. All this was in front of very new believers.

There is one odd thing about the N.K.J., it's logo found inside the cover or on the cover.

Well if it's any consolation the Church I attend is non denominations,but the Pastors use The King James.
But on Facebook their post are in another version,and I know they do not condemn anyone's Bible.

The experience you had most likely was from a Independent Fundamental type Church.

Neither do I condemn those who use other versions. I simply state that after many years of study and research, I have come to the conviction that God has perfectly preserved His Word in the KJV for English speaking people.

There are today, over 100 versions of the English Bible, all having obtained a copyright. This means that each of these "Bibles" must be significantly different, in order to avoid plagiarism; yet, they all claim to be the same Word of God. How can this be?
