Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it.
The man-based churches are all built upon their handwritings of ordinances (statements of faith, church constitutions, church by-laws, etc). They copy the surrounding nations in these things. They are "images" made in the likeness of the nations around us who do not know God nor keep His commandments.
They have established their own self-governing documents at the core of all of their gatherings….just as the outside nations do with their core/founding documents (such as their governmental “constitutions”).
Psa 127:1 KJV
(1) A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
In vain do they worship Him, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Mat 15:8-9 KJV
(8) This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
(9) But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
God does not dwell in the temples made with hands. He does not dwell in a man-based church that is built upon their handwritings…the works of man’s hand.
Act 17:24 KJV
(24) God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
We are His offspring and He is not the product of man’s hands….his church handwritings which are “graven by art and man’s device.”
Act 17:28-30 KJV
(28) For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
(29) Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
(30) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
His people have set their abominations (their handwritings of ordinances which are "images") in the house which is called by His name…the holy place. They should not be found standing there. It is the “abomination of desolation” that should not be found standing/established in the holy place.
We are to have reverence for His sanctuary and walk in HIS statutes and keep HIS commandments and do them rather than man’s statutes and commandments that he has placed down in his church handwriting of ordinances.
Lev 26:1-4 KJV
(1) Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
(2) Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
(3) If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
(4) Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
The children of Judah are the followers of Judas…the church rulers… who do this...who have set their abominations (their handwritings) in the house that is called by His name. They pollute His holy place. And so, He has rejected and forsaken the” generation of His wrath” who have done these things.
To “cut off” the hair signifies the cutting off of His glory. His glory is not seen among the man-based churches who are the generation of His wrath….the children of disobedience. The abomination of the desolation has caused the glory of God to depart.
We must come out from among them and be separate. What does the temple of God have in common with "images"?
Jer 7:29-30 KJV
(29) Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
(30) For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.
In the man-based churches, we are by nature the children of wrath EVEN AS OTHERS. We are living in the “generation of His wrath”…even as people of the outside world who do not know God are under His wrath. We mortally perish in the man-based churches under His wrath just like them.

(1) And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
(2) Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
(3) Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
But our God is rich in mercy. By His grace, we are saved…delivered from those who are living in error in the man-based churches. He makes us alive together with Christ.
Eph 2:4-8 KJV
(4) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
(5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)
(6) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
(7) That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
By His grace are we saved/delivered through faith.
(8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Instead of being built upon the handwritings of the man-based churches, we are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Corner Stone. Jesus interprets the words of the apostles and the prophets to us….and we are to hear Him and believe in His testimony. His words are life and spirit.
Eph 2:20-22 KJV
(20) And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
(21) In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
(22) In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
We …who first trust in Him…hear the Word of Truth, the good news of our salvation….and BELIEVE. We are the "firstfruits" who will HEAR and BELIEVE. We are to take heed on how we hear.

(11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
(12) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
(14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Of His own will does He beget us with the word of Truth (that Christ teaches us) so that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. The "creatures" are the people of the outside world (the "great multitude") who will "see" Him (and beleive) through us...through us the firstfruits who will HEAR and believe.

(18) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

(19) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
In Christ shall all be made alive. Every man in his own order…his own set…his own troop. We, who HEAR His voice and believe in the Word of Truth, are “Christ the firstfruits” of His creatures. We are the first “order”….the 144,000… that is made alive.
Afterward, they that are Christ’s at His presence. These are the “great multitude” order of the people of the outside world who will then “see” His presence shine through us the “firstfruits”.
1Co 15:22-23
(22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
(23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming (PRESENCE).
Christ the firstfruits are the 144,000 "order" or troop. They are redeemed from among men....from among their man-based churches. They will no longer be among them...for they are virgins. They will no longer be defiled by sitting together with those of the man-based churches....which are likened to a "strange woman."

(4) These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
The 144,000 HEAR the Word of Truth and believe. John HEARD the number of them which were sealed.....as the 144,000 hear the Word of Truth...the gospel of our salvation..and are sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise.

(4) And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
They are Christ the firstfruits who are made alive first....then those who are Christ's at His presence are made alive. THis is the following "great multitude" who will then SEE (after this I BEHELD and LO) His presence through us, the 144,000. They stood "before" (that is, in the face of) the throne and before (in the face of) the Lamb. We all ...the 144,000...with "open face" reflect His glory to them, the "great multitude" who will then be made alive in Christ. God and the Lamb make their dwelling place with us the 144,000.
