Kissing when not in a relationship - is it wrong/sin?

Ah scripture. Here's one I was raised on. I Thessalonians 5:26 NIV Greet all brethren with a holy kiss. Kissing in and of itself isn't wrong. It is used as a form of greeting, used to comfort a child, used even sometimes in excitement over an achievement. It can be witnessed in some Churches. Both male and female giving a quick kiss on the cheek. So, to me kissing is ok. To me, Intimate kissing though should be reserved for those in love.

yeah I've tried that one about greeting with a kiss. the girls just don't buy it. "but really, right here it says you have to kiss me!"
