I thought this thread had died a quiet death.

Just watched last week's episode on tape yesterday. It was really great to see the town finally coming together and them succeed in a huge challenge without the big, strong teen guys being there! Good for them.

I am very much looking forward to seeing the finale!

I'm looking forward to the finale too. I wish they had a reunion show like they do for Survivor and some other reality programs. I would love to see Taylor after she's seen her behavior on the show, and find out if she or her parents are at all ashamed.

I second that!

Maybe at least they'll have something at the end where we get the parents' reactions to how their children behaved.

Am I the only one who wants to scoop up that little Alex kid and take him home with me? He's sooooo cute!

Alex has become my favorite kid on the show. I am constantly amazed at how smart he is, and the things he knows at his age! His reaction when he found out he won the gold star last week was awesome. So shocked and humble, "You chose me??" Made me cry, silly kid. :D

I thought that was an awesome show. I hope they do another season.

I barely got to even see Taylor's mother, much less hear her say anything - I wonder if there was a reason for that ;)

When Morgan's dad stood up and thanked everyone, and Greg was so polite in how he spoke to him, I got teary eyed. Greg was such a jerk at times, but he seems like he has a lot of potential and wants to be a good kid. I hope he stays on the right path.

I still want a reunion show, though!

But not for 10 or 15 years.

I really enjoyed the final show. It was an interesting contrast throughout it. To see how they would act with no rules and then have the sense the next day to go back and clean things up was great. And some of them never gave in to doing the wrong thing anyway.

I was so glad to see Zach finally get a star....what a nice guy and only 10 years old! I was also very glad to see Sophia get a second star...yet another one of the young people who was very mature for her years. I was so glad she chose the balloon rides.

I thought it ended in a anti-climatic way....too bad it didn't sign-up off with a bit more closure to it. I also think the kids who became closest to each other will stay in touch, given modern technology.

I had originally thought the idea of the show was horrible and I'm very glad to have seen myself proved wrong.

Looking forward to another Kid Nation.

Does anybody know how it did in the ratings? Just wondering if a second season is probable.

The last I read about it (in a recent issue of TV Guide), CBS hadn't officially renewed it, but they were scouting locations and soliciting auditions.

Make of that information what you will.
