I am what the call a CSR--Customer Service Rep--better known as a cashier. I work in a truckstop, and usually at the fuel desk--the trucker's end--but sometimes the gasoline end. And, by the way--the cadets have only 45 minutes--we have to work all of them in and out in that short period of time!

I thought you worked in an all-nighter, as we call them over here sometimes. That'd be interesting with all the different folk coming in there. So food and stuff is served as well, I guess? I hope you're always safe, Rich......

Well, the truckstop is a 24/7 365 operation--we never close. But I have only worked the graveyard when I got stuck there because of winter weather, and no replacements could get there. BUT--when that happens to you, the stop pays for a motel room the next morning IF you have to be back 1 shift later.

Here is another oldies link. Most will not remember this one, but it is a very pretty song. It was done by a group called the Safaris. This is NOT the same group that did the classic song Wipe Out. This is the music only--there was a video, but I felt some of the pics were not ok here.
