you also haven't answered my question, do you also believe that god died?

Do you believe in the Trinity?

Do you believe that God can know how you feel and think about anything if He is unkowable, unreachable?

Jesus died on the cross. God now knows how you feel about your children dying. He knows what it feels like to be treated badly and to be hated.

How else can we have a relationship with God if God is something we cannot comprehend and (in Islamic theology) cannot possibly know what it feels like to be human being.

As Adam caused us all to fall short of God's demands, even so Christ reconciled us to his Father. He will reign for a time, but there will be an end:

But Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For he "has put everything under his feet." Now when it says that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all. (I Corinthians 15:20-28,NIV)

What God requires of all who would enter his presence and survive the encounter is a righteousness which only he can provide. The person we know as Jesus Christ, who was without sin, became the expiation for our sins. The righteousness which we Christians call 'saving grace' is not a righteousness which we have earned for ourselves. It is a righteousness which God earned on our behalf, with the full cooperation of his Son Jesus Christ.

do christians really believe god died and came back to life?

The theory is that Jesus was able to empty Himself (kenosis). They believe that the power at work in Jesus was the Holy Spirit of God, working in Him the same way that God can work in and though us. That is why Jesus said:
"Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani"

This is a quote in Aramaic -- meaning "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me" -- attributed in the New Testament to Jesus as he was crucified.

Philippians 2:5-7 (New King James Version)

5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.

Dear alhamdullilah. We all know that God is Spirit, Holy Spirit, God is everywhere and sees everything, God is the Almighty. When we, Mankind, had moved too far away from God, and we could not pay for our Redemption, God, who is all Love, and loves us, found a worthy Virgin and filled her with part of His Holy Spirit. Mary was the chosen vessel to bring forth Jesus, Son of Man, while He lived on Earth. Jesus showed us God as He really is, our loving Heavenly Father, who wants us back again. For 30 years Jesus lived amongst us, and taught us how to love and forgive. Jesus died for us out of love for us, Jesus paid the debt which God`s Holy Law demanded, His Blood washed us clean, and we were reconciled to God. When God raised Jesus, Mankind was saved, and Jesus returned to God, where He is now to plead our prayers to God. God-Father, and God-son. It is God`s Holy Spirit who lives in the world now, to carry on the work which Jesus started. God-Father, God-Son, and God-Holy Spirit, three beings/persons YET One Holy God. The Bible will tell you more in detail, alhamdullilah. I say this humbly and with love. Greetings from Emmy, sister in Christ.

It amazes me that in this age we can communicate with others in Palestine.

The question is did Jesus become alive on the cross?

Maybe being live creation is really being dead.

At the very instant of the death of the created body of Jesus, A path was opened.

Matk 15: 38 The Temple of the Father in Heaven is opened, the Temple Curtain
is Torn. The Heavens are open.

Can you see it, Can you walk in?

The door is open, no ones walks in.

I did.

I dont see "And god will suffer and die" or something like it.
It still doesn't make any sense, how could god die?

How could you even say this as a believing person? Me as a muslim cant even utter the words, cant even think about it.

Dont you find it illogical for an eternal and all powerfull god to just die?

Muslims say we can't understand God so I really can't see how they are always fielding these questions saying "It makes no sense [to us]." Allah isn't any more 'understandable', the way Muslims I've spoke to describe Allah is as completely alien and indescribable.

Jesus Christ is not God...he is the son of God. That is, what was in him and that which manifested through him, was God. Perhaps it best to view the trinity of God by thinking of the sun. The sun is the Father,(God) the heat (presence of God) ie the Holy Spirit and the light (the manifestation of God) is Jesus. All three are God in sense, but only the sun is God. (the Bible says there is only one God).

The Bible say man is made in the image of God and so we too are triune in nature, as is our Creator. We have a Body, a soul and a spirit. If you have a natural son, all that the physical son is, comes from your flesh. Is he you? No...but he is of you and you are manifest through him by his physical appearance. God is Spirit and what was in Jesus was the fulness of the Spirit of God.

Every other person that has lived before or since Jesus was born of the flesh of Adam and had the sinful nature of the natural man. The only hope of salvation of the natural man is to live within the law of the old covenant.

Jesus however was born of flesh and of Holy Spirit. By dying to the old law (through baptism into Christ) we receive that Spirit that was in Christ and we come under the new covenant (which is to live by the leading of the Holy Spirit) and into the presence of God.

Those that put their hope in natural men such as Muhammed, Buddha etc are deceived just as they were and they will be judged by the law of the old covenant as they will be, because they cannot offer anything of God. They can offer religion, they can use brute force to convert people, they can use intellect and emotion, but they cannot offer the Spirit of God which comes through Christ Jesus.
