I guess you aren’t understanding the subtext in the OP.
I guess you don't understand factual statements. Apparently you think that Hawley's quoting a virulently antisemitic white nationalist magazine somehow makes him a racist? You accuse others of the conclusion you yourself drew.

I didn't draw that conclusion.

Then why did you say, "Ah. That makes him a racist. I see." ? No one else said that, only you.
I guess you missed the context that made it evident it was sarcasm.

While quoting an antiemetic and white nationalist publication and attributing it to Patrick Henry doesn't automatically make someone a racist, it certainly doesn't deserve your sarcasm.

How do you know that’s the publication he quoted?

It's where the quote originated, we wouldn't know how Hawley came across the quote, as he didn't reveal his source.

So, we'd have to wonder, where and who is percolating that quote through the internet.

I’m pretty sure you meant antisemitic, though what you wrote is a word too, (so no red line).

I think it autocorrected, probably after I spelled anti-semitic like you did. I wouldn't catch such a mistake due to the dyslexia.

I still can barely see the difference while having it pointed out to me.

I think a lot of Josh Hawley's audience are those who demand to be lied to, just as they did re Fox and election reporting.

He's giving them what they want with this fabricated quote.

Real. Fake. Doesn't matter in the new "conservative" post modern mindset. Its all about having your narrative triumph in receptive minds.

A large amount of their argument relies on being the true embodiment of the founders of this country, both legally and traditionally.

So, it makes a very poor argument if they aren't quoting the founders at all but rather some radicals from the 1950's.

I know it doesn't matter to most, but a lot of conservatives pretend to be intellectuals when making these kind of arguments. It's good to get the facts straight.

Hanging out here, probably.

Remember how Hunter Biden (booooo) was paying $50,000 in rent to his dad, the Big Guy, every month?

Or the “million dollar a year” job H had?
