In my first post I said 25 th was implied. I don’t think your convention theory is plausible, because: there you are dealing with many delegates who are not beholden to Pelosi’s threats. They are there to represent voters which by the way has gone out the window. Joe is no hero in this matter no how many times it is shouted from the roof tops. He was forced out if don’t believe me just ask Jill and Hunter.

It seems you forgot that many Biden supporters were withdrawing their support over the last 3 weeks. It was readily reflected in key swing state polling. Were they "forced" by Pelosi as well?

Biden's who reason for running was he believed he was the only one could defeat Trump. It took a while to get through to BIden, but he eventually recognized this would not be another 2020. I'm sure his closest advistors were sharing poll data. And of course, party leaders are going to express their concerns. Biden finnally recognized the reality of his race and made the right decision.

There is nothing sinister about his decision.
And if he wanted, he certainly could have stayed in. As the nominee, he alone had to make the decision.

Biden should step down right now. If he's not capable of running rhe country I. 2025, he's not capable now. Kamala should take over now. Why are we letting this poor man act as president when he's not running rhe country or capable of it.
The question is if he can do another 4 years, not 5 months. He is is doing fine as president.

I disagree. Have you listened to him lately. He's so mentally declined. He's not tge one running the country and the president is supposed to be. He's not mentally competent.

i have listened to him lately. in an interview, he demonstrated a depth of knowledge about foreign policy that Trump will never attain.

We won't agree on this.

I find the foreign policy decisions by Joe Biden to be woefully inept. If I believed half of what liberal politicians, liberal media, and liberal people on social media, then I think we ought to nominate Joe Biden as one of the greatest Presidents in the history of America and we ought to maybe nominate him for sainthood, too. However, that was not good enough for the Democratic Party because they knew that Joe Biden's chances of winning the election against Donald Trump were not great at all. Therefore, they persuaded Joe Biden to NOT seek reelection for the "good of the country." Well, if he was a great president, is it not logical that he stay in the race? If he was an awesome president, is it not logical that the vast majority of Americans would have wanted Biden to seek reelection? Therefore, it is clear to me that it is the Democratic Party policies and political machine with which Donald Trump, JD Vance, and the MAGA Republican Party is running against. In my opinion, my friends, what we have here in this election and probably in most of the other national elections of the USA is the machine of one political party running against the machine of the other political party.

Actually, he has about half. By the time the election comes, he will have about 2 years in the Senate. By the time Obama was elected, he had just under four years in the US Senate. I also noticed you specifically limited it to the Senate and ignored the fact that Obama also had significant experience in the state legislature of the sixth biggest state of the country. The sum total of Vance's political experience is the less then two years he has in the Senate.

I'm not sure what that has to do with qualifications for VP since being the VP isn't the same as being a venture capitalist.

I will say, at least he has more qualifications then Trump did when he ran for President the first time.

Why would you though? She had pretty impressive qualifications. 6 years as the AG of the largest state in the country, 4 years in the US Senate and 4 years as VP. That's even discounting her time as DA, which is an elected position in CA. The qualifications don't even begin to compare.
I say nice things about the qualifications for Kamala Harris, and still get some pushback about Trump and Vance. Oh well, I guess being honest and nice doesn't win any brownie points around here. :)

From the link below: “For the Democrats, if there is one person who they need to be praised for convincing Joe Biden to end his election campaign, it will be the former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi had taken a tough stand which forced the US President to end his campaign. Many people speaking to Politico said that Pelosi informed Biden that they could do this in the easy way or the hard way.” What was the final warning issued by Nancy Pelosi that convinced Joe Biden to quit the presidential race?
If I had to bet I would say that donors agreed to take care of Biden’s family financially if he stepped down, but if he ran they were on their own.
