House impeachment investigators are seeking to uncover what role, if any, Joe Biden played in his son’s foreign business dealings. After repeated denials of ever having met Hunter's business partners, evidence of meetings, key payments and witness testimony tell another story.
Evidence including sworn impeachment inquiry testimony, confirmed emails and financial records increasingly show that President Joe Biden’s meetings with his son’s foreign clients were closely followed by payments and agreements that advanced his family’s business deals.

House Republicans on Thursday subpoenaed new financial records belonging to Hunter Biden, his associates, and companies in a growing effort to find evidence that Joe Biden benefited personally from his son’s foreign dealings.
Rep. Greg Steube agreed on the "Just the News, No Noise" television show on Thursday that Joe Biden played a “rainmaker” role in Hunter Biden’s business ventures.
“We’ve known that all along and now we’re getting corroborating witness testimony,” Steube said. “Thankfully, for the subpoenas that have been issued to the financial institutions, we now have financial evidence of the money that was laundered from the Chinese Communist Party or Russian oligarchs, or the Ukrainian government and entities through the Biden family members, his brother, James Biden, and Hunter Biden.”

“And we know that obviously, Joe Biden was the impetus behind all of that,” Steube claimed.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment from Just the News.

Here we go again. Are you all saying that you have not been following the news about all of this from the last couple of years?
No, we're saying that we have been following it and that the "evidence" presented so far doesn't amount to anything. But we're being polite and giving you the chance to tell us what this evidence is before writing it off.

If we're having difficulty finding cash flowing directly to Joe from Hunter's efforts to leverage his father's political position, that may have something to do with the thousands of emails the elder Biden hid behind pseudonymous accounts while vice president, in defiance of transparency standards.

"The clandestine emails fit a pattern that GOP investigators are piecing together of a behind-the-scenes effort by Hunter to sell his father's power in Washington — in which Joe played along," opines The Wall Street Journal editorial board.

Allegations that the Biden administration interfered in the investigation of Hunter also add to the impression that something isn't right.

"I am here to tell you that the Delaware USAO [United States Attorney's Office] and Department of Justice (DOJ) handling of the Hunter Biden tax investigation was very different from any other case in my 14 years at the IRS," Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley told the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability in July. "At every stage decisions were made that benefited the subject of the investigation," Shapley added. With regard to information found on Hunter Biden's laptop, "Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf told us prosecutors had decided to conceal some evidence from the investigators."

"A majority, 61%, say they think that Biden had at least some involvement in Hunter Biden's business dealings, with 42% saying they think he acted illegally, and 18% saying that his actions were unethical but not illegal," CNN reported September 7 of a recent poll. "A 55% majority of the public says the president has acted inappropriately regarding the investigation into Hunter Biden over potential crimes, while 44% say that he has acted appropriately."

A subsequent AP-NORC poll finds that a majority of Americans are "extremely or very concerned" (33 percent) or "somewhat concerned" (26 percent) whether "President Joe Biden committed wrongdoing related to his son Hunter Biden's business dealings." About 50 percent of respondents say they are "not very or not at all confident" that the Justice Department is handling its investigation of Hunter Biden fairly.

The American people have already seen plenty of evidence. They don't need courtroom-level proof of sleaze and corruption to render their own verdicts.

I watched the video. I read the articles. The evidence is:

Joe went to dinner. Joe said hi to some people. Later, some deal with China was sealed. That's it.

"Joe was the brand." So what? We all know Hunter leveraged his family name. Is banking on your name a crime? Because if so, where was this outrage about the Trumps?

They throw out a long list of potential crimes, but they don't substantiate any of it. It's all just "things they're looking at."

Here we go again. Are you all saying that you have not been following the news about all of this from the last couple of years?

No, I've been paying attention. Very close attention. To my misfortune, I now have to keep up with this sort of news for professional reasons.

So, despite having watched literally hundreds of hours of Fox News coverage and read hundreds of more articles from every site from the Wall Street Journal down to Breitbart and the Epoch Times, I'm still not exactly sure what impeachable offense Joe Biden is supposed to have committed.

I'm doubly not sure about exactly what impeachable offense Joe Biden is supposed to have committed in the period he was a public servant (either as a senator, vice president or president).

Communicating with his son and exchanging frivolities with some of his son's business partners doesn't seem to be an impeachable offense. Nor does having his son accept foreign money. Neither does having your son or brother try to exploit your name in their business dealing.

Criminal behaviour by Hunter Biden is not an impeachable offense by Joe Biden, even if Hunter invoked Joe's name in his dealings. Likewise for Jim Biden.

The 'Biden crime family' meme is very dumb. It's a transparent attempt to apply collective blame to Joe Biden because of some shifty and (potentially) illegal dealings by his kith and kin. But, as H.L. Mencken is supposed to have said. "no one ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the American public".

Surely you have evidence? Polls are not evidence, so I don't know why you brought those up when asked for it.
Looks like an attempt to do the best with what has been described by GOP officials as an "unmitigated disaster" for them.

Polls are not evidence, and adding them to try to bolster the thread shows evidence of desperation.

Lots of evidence has been uncovered through bank records, financial records, emails, etc.

If we're having difficulty finding cash flowing directly to Joe from Hunter's efforts to leverage his father's political position, that may have something to do with ...
I guess the bank and financial records don't show anything.
