You said something was in Websters. I look it up and posted the link, which you plagiarized, then claimed I never referenced anything, which was intentional dishonesty.
Plagiarize? Here's Webster's definiton of plagiarize

: to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own : use (another's production) without crediting the source intransitive verb : to commit literary theft : present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source

Clearly you are mistaken since I credited Webster's

You do realize that saying something, especially when what you said is wrong, is hardly a reference?
But when you use a source like Webster's, as I did, and I was right, thn it is a reference

What I continue to find so astounding is the complete dishonesty in claiming "nucular" actually means "nukyalar".
I don't recall anybody saying that "nucular" actually means "nukyalar". I recall we were discussing the pronunciation, not the definiton so you can cease being astounded

The EXACT same questions pertain to Barack Obama.

Do you want to fly in a commercial airliner with a guy who just started flying anything?
Versus the pilot, copilot, related personal who have nosed dive the plane for the last eight years and have not a clue how to recover, I'll take the guy who has started flying and is seen to have enormous potential of a pilot.

It's not even about experience, it's about talent; Obama has more talent, period.

You don't even think he's a good public speaker?

Or what about a good father?

He is a good public speaker, as for being a good Father, I don't really know the man other than what I see on tv.

So why did you say that he's not talented at anything other than being a radical liberal, then?

Increased spending and income redistribution for a couple
If you actually look at the platforms they both increase spending and Obama is the lesser of the two as for income redistribution they also both support that the only difference is McInsane would give the breaks to the wealthy for trickle down economics which does not work and Obama's would focus on the middle class.

Given inflation Government spending has increased under every president (less Clinton) and would increase with whoever is in office. And btw, you mean Obama is going to redistribute the previous GOP tax redistributions.

Not like it would under Obama's proposed spending

He will increase that drastically

I went to websters d o t c o m, and tried typing in “nuculer”. It gave several suggestions (such as knuckeler), of which one was “nucular”, which said this:

Nucular is an ad hoc spelling of an incorrect pronunciation of the word nuclear, representing the (NEW-cue-lurr) pronunciation of that word instead of the correct /ˈnjuːkliːɚ/ (NEWK-lee-urr).
This pronunciation is disapproved, although some dictionaries recognize it because of its increasing usage.
It also had this:

Usage Note: The pronunciation (nōō'kyə-lər), which is generally considered incorrect, is an example of how a familiar phonological pattern can influence an unfamiliar one. The usual pronunciation of the final two syllables of this word is (-klē-ər), but this sequence of sounds is rare in English. Much more common is the similar sequence (-kyə-lər), which occurs in words like particular, circular, spectacular, and in many scientific words like molecular, ocular, and vascular.

The site says that the cue-lur pronunciation is incorrect and by metathesis (metathesis is a type of mistake). Looking over several different sources, it’s clear that it’s incorrect, and that it’s a common mistake.

You know, it’s clear how this happened. People who aren’t terribly familiar with the word nuclear heard other words like the ones above (particular, circular, etc.), and just talked without reading the word closely. That’s fine, we are all busy and such. However, the response to being corrected says something about one’s character. If one cares about doing things right, then one fixes one’s language. On the other hand, if one has a big ego, cares only about getting one’s way, and lacks humility, then the facts don’t matter, and the red-neck pronunciation (nu-cue-lur) is not only used, but defended.

I’m not sure which behavior is more prevalent among left, right, or center type people. However, on this thread, it is a conservative who is acting this way (not just acting ignorantly, but then defending this behavior). I hope that they see that doing so hurts the causes they support more than it hurts anyone else.

We need top notch educational standards and performance in this country if we are going to stop from falling farther behind. Is the right really saying that this kind of linguistic sloppiness is OK? Am I supposed to start telling my kids that when they do poorly in school it’s OK, since the leaders of the country are no better, and by doing poorly they are “identifying with joe six pack”? It sounds awfully PC – so that pronunciation is true for you, since there is no objective truth.

In a case like this where it is clear which one is correct (and even what mistake gave us the incorrect pronunciation), I hope we can all agree (left and right) that we put pride in what we do as Americans, and give our kids the best examples, and don't say that questionable performace is fine as long as it feels good.

Pronunciation: \ˈnü-klē-ər, ˈnyü-, ÷-kyə-lər\

It's only hard if you want it to be.
You know what's funny is that the very same people complaining of Bush's and Palin's pronunciation of "nuclear" would not dare question Jesse Jackson for saying something like, "I didn't axe him any questions."
