I'm not into them, but they look relaxing. I've heard of people getting 2 or more puzzles and mixing them in a bag before trying to do them. I presume they must not look at the picture beforehand (and/or that the colour palettes must be similar). It sounds interesting.

Are they relaxing or stimulating? Do they wind you down or up?

Okay I would never put two in a bag and try to do them both. That would stress me out, haha.

For me doing a puzzle is relaxing and it wakes up my mind at the same time. I'm consistently thinking of nothing of the puzzle but also I feel like I'm "braining better" or exercising my mind. They do overall wind me down though. I feel better after accomplishing one. :)

They are fun and this website I use gives new ones every day, so my new routine is to get online in the morning and do the one (or someone there's multiple) for today while I drink coffee. :)

That's a decent sales pitch. If I have friend who's asked to do one together, do you think that'd work? Or is it a solo activity?

EDIT: "If I have friend"... I must need brain better...

lol It's okay. :satisfied:

Well if you get an actual jigsaw puzzle, then sure, you could definitely do one together. The bigger the puzzle, the more help is needed. :D

This site I use doesn't have a multi-player option which I'm bummed about but I'm sure there are other sites that offer it and would be a fun time passer to do with a friend. :)

Jigsaws are fun solo or multi player IMO, you can't go wrong. :D

I was talking about a physical one. Online multiplayer jigsaw puzzles sounds pretty interesting, too. I wonder if you take turns or if you just go for it

For sure a physical one. :)

That JigsawPlanet seems to be multi-player and different puzzles so I might have a new addiction :p

I used to absolutely hate puzzles.
My mom loved them and would buy them for me every year for Christmas. But gosh did I hate sitting down and doing them.

And then a year or two ago, I sat down with my sister and found it incredibly relaxing to do the puzzle. For me it's a nice way to keep my brain busy if I'm also watching a movie or show- I like multi-tasking lol.

I finished this one on my first day of Spring Break this year. IMG_3914.jpeg

Oh I love that one, it's so cute. :D

I use to not be into jigsaws either but it has become really fun. I too am a multi-tasker and will do the same thing, lol

Thanks!
And of course we are the same ;) LOL Always and forever.
But I love that you found an online site! When you have physical jigsaw puzzles, you have to have the space, keep them out AND keep buying new ones. So I'm excited to try the daily jigsaws!
