The fact that Jerusalem is under Jewish control, is a major indirect prophecy fulfillment.

Israel became a state again on May 14th, 1948, which was prophesied in ezekiel 20:33-38, ezekiel 38, zephaniah 2:1-2.
one interesting thing to note is that israel became a state in one day out of the Un, as Isaiah 66:8 said would happen.

Now that Jerusalem is under Jewish control, the tribulation temple can be built.(1) For centuries Jerusalem has been under the control of other gentile nations, and thus the temple could not have been rebuilt.

(1)
He[the antichrist] will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' [a] In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. (daniel 9:27)

He[the antichrist] will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.( 2 thess 2:4)

America (except Manhattan Island) belongs to the Indian People.

ANd if you go that route you have a lot of debate over what tribe gets what land.

Already fulfilled.

In AD 638 when the Caliph Omar took over Jerusalem and went to the ruins of the Temple of Solomon where Mohammed had supposedly been taken up, the patriarch of Jerusalem said "Behold the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet".

The Dome of the Rock is the abomination of desolation.

Sorry, but that is incorrect. The "HE" in daniel 9:27l in the antecedent of prince in verse 26, which is the antichrist. We know this because, verse 26 says , and "the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy..." History now teaches us that "the people" in this verse are the romans, who destroyed Jerusalem under the commander Titus. In keeping with the context of daniel 7 and 8, the prince that shall come is the antichrist.
According to daniel 9:27, the antichrist will have a 7 year covenant wiht Israel, aka the tribulation, and in the middle of the tribulation the antichrist will cease the sacrifices in the temple. Since the destruction of the temple in 70 ad, the jews have not rebuilt another temple. Thus, daniel 9:27 has not been fulfilled.

The bible is not a historical reference to the claim of Jerusalem for the Jews if that was the rubbish which you spoke of in the OP. I am still appalled by the fact that the UN was able to divide the land like they did, if I were a Palestinian at that time I would have fought vehemently against such an action. Me thinks they are doing this now: too little too late.

Reconciliation is what is needed, not the further emphasis of differences between Jews and Muslims. We've heard enough of that for decades.
If, the Palestinians and the Israeli's can show the world how well they can get on with each other, then the world will take notice and the impetus for global Islamic terrorism would be drastically reduced.

Biblical prophecy states that Jerusalem will remain in the hands of the Jews. They will not be driven into the sea or scattered again. That aside Israel is a strong nation more than capable of defending itself and maintaining an identity indenfinitely.

The West Bank should never be surrendered.

And you deciphered the "fulfillment" of this procephy from these quotes how? Looks like nonsense to me, much like Nostradamus. If these two quotes are your proof for such a claim, I'm sorry, but you have got to do better than that.

What are you talking about? The Indigenous peoples had already spread out to their own areas i.e., the Pueblos in the Southwest, the Pacific Northwest tribes in the Pacific Northwest, Plains tribes in the plains, etc., etc.. What is there to debate?

Actually, America belongs to those who have legal rights to the land and is recognised by other countries as having a valid claim :p

diane

Only because the land was stolen from the Native Peoples, or because the Natives didn't have "legal rights" to the lands because they didn't have paper and therefore deeds.:p

Well I am native american. At least in part. But everyone who was born here and is a citizen has rights here under the Constitution. White, black, green, or gray. Do we have to relive the nineteenth century again?:o

Relive? Pine Ridge Indian reservation, the life expectancy for men is around 48. For women it's around 52. Some figures put it a couple of years higher, but nonetheless, it's still appalling low.

"Indian soverignty" is quite a joke. Wow. So they can build roads. And what of the BIA some how "losing" ten billion dollars owed to Native American tribes in royalties and payments for allowing drilling for oil or minerals on their lands? What about the horrible health conditions on many reservations? But wait! They have casinos! Yeah, only like 15% of them. And a lot of those don't even help due to the isolated locations of the reservations.

And what about the Apache reservation in Arizona that had a part of it stolen -which just happened to have a stream going through it- because of a single supposed sighting of an endangered species of owl? The stream by the way, the Apache used to irrigate their crops, a use which the city government (I forget the name of the city nearby which wanted the land) called "irresponsible." Yeah, and the dozens of golf courses in the middle of the damn desert, that's a good use for the water. Idiots.

It seems to me that there's no reason to "relive" anything, when a lot of people are still living through it.

By the way, I'm also Native American. Cowichan from British Columbia, and also Mexica from Mexico (Mexicans if you are unaware are Indigenous and Spanish. The terms "hispanic" and "latino" completely disregard this fact. Only full blooded Spaniards are Hispanic or Latino. And Latino too, of course is European in origin, the Romans).

Under the constitution? How long after the United States became a nation did the Native Peoples, as well as the Blacks and others suffer? How long before they were "citizens?" How long before they could vote? Not to mention before the US was officially established. And many still suffer as I have pointed out.

The quotes i posted were not regarding the Jews coming back to Israel, but the rebuilding of the temple(tribulation temple). Notice the "1", i was giving reference to the claim that the temple will be rebuilt. I'll post my POST again to clarify, and show you the prophecies that concern Israel becoming a nation again.
