Hmmm....

Hanso gets mentioned a number of times in one of Morcova's links. And the Smoke Monster does seem somewhat like whatever is causing havoc.

Also...`Apollo Candy Bars' vs `Slusho'? (that is my observation).

I find myself wondering if this ...movie... might not tie into Lost somehow at a weird angle.
