...so what, exactly, is it you want medical texts to change?

Except the bits about evil spirits? so... any examples of what is in medical texts you think DOES contradict scripture?Anything that contradicts Scripture.
Wrong god in your literature.
Wrong dating in your literature.
Let me reiterate --- make a better x-ray machine if you have to --- make the crops grow better if you have to --- but don't contradict Scripture doing it.
I'm pretty sure a case could be made that X-rays are non-biblical... all that seeing of others nakedness, and invisible rays that arent mentioned in the Bible... sounds practically dripping with satanic gribbliness to meif such narrow interpretations of Scripture remained the medical standard, we wouldn't have any Xray machines in the first place, or decent crops. Whenever disease broke out, we'd still be applying leeches and looking for a witch to stone for it
Video games and Jurassic Park, AV...video games and Jurassic Park.Does it make sense now, nv - (since I've brought Apollo and 9500 BC into the picture)?
Because a six foot Wookie isn't going to live on Endor with a bunch of Ewoks! Far out, how much more simple could it be?Video games and Jurassic Park, AV...video games and Jurassic Park.
No AV, as usual, it makes no sense at all.
Who cares about Scripture?

That about sums it up --- doesn't it?
Wow --- unbelievable --- but considering your first statement, I can understand.
Now THIS remark I don't understand. Not even from someone who does have your attitude, Nathan. You can't even respect It enough to know that wouldn't be sanctioned in the Scriptures. (I have a feeling you do though, you're just trying to get under our skin.)
Nope -- the actions I mentioned were put into practice by people who held Scripture in the same level of idolatry as you do. What makes you any different from them?
And with that --- I bid this thread 'adieu'.
I still don't understand how people will take a narrow interpretation of the Bible as proof against reality. I suppose I never will really.
Actually the Bible's view of reality is much wider than scientists'.
Scientists ignore and/or deny 99.999...% of reality because science is myopic, and they won't believe until they can taste, see, feel, hear, or smell it.
When you consider how small the earth is compared to the universe, hopefully you get the picture of what I'm saying.
Factoring God, angels, and miracles out of their equations guarantees their version of reality will be smaller than a quark in the ocean.
And you won't find the Bible being sold in the fiction section, will you?Have you ever noticed that the fiction section in the bookshop is bigger than the science section?
And with that --- I bid this thread 'adieu'.
And you won't find the Bible being sold in the fiction section, will you?
Not all of it, no.That's because the Bible isn't fiction.
Granted. And you won't find It being sold in the science section either, will you?
No, it describes a fiction that makes you feel incredibly good about yourself. The power of your feeling doesn't show anything above reality, but the fantasy that you have been admitted to a special, bigger realm from which all these other more educated, cleverer people have been excluded reveals quite a lot about what really makes you feel good. That's because It shows a reality above that which science can see.
I'm a sinner saved by grace. No, it describes a fiction that makes you feel incredibly good about yourself.
I'm a sinner saved by grace.
My sins put Jesus on the Cross.
Ya ... I'm just doing a song and a dance right now.
