LOL, and in 1967 they got control of more of it!

And they've paid for it with so much blood not even the rabid Zionists made much of a fuss when Sharon gave it away. Perhaps to you it is different, but to me there is no land worth killing over.

I have to admit, I'm a little disturbed at how much American Christians give support to "Israel". Israel is a mostly secular state, made up by mostly secular people, with immigration policies that discriminate against Christians and non-Jews. There have been many Hebrew couples that could not invoke "right to return" to Israel because they converted to Christianity.

Your taking issue with the people of Israel, whereas, we are paying more attention to the land. I could care less about the government, however, Israel owns this land. It was theirs once before, then taken from them. Now that they have it back, the world is bent on taking it from her again. Governments come and go, but the land promised to them will be theirs forever. Where do you think Jesus is going to rule from during the millenium kingdom? Palestine?

Anyways, the land that Israel occupies today is theirs. Noone should be distributing it up to another people.
If it's theirs they can do as they like with it. So if they want to keep it or give it away or plow it with salt it's their business.

Imaging the UN saying that the Native Americans are allowed to have their land back, and all others will have to congregate their community in a small portion of the land. That's the situation that confronts Israel today.
Do you actually think that anyone in Israel gives a rat's patoot what the UN says?

So does this mean that Austria, large parts of the Czech Republic, the corridor and Prussia should be given back to Germany? After all it was German land at one time, certainly at more recently than Israel's downfall.
It was taken from them by governments and people that no longer exist and are long dead. The funny thing about all this is people like you that sit here and saber rattle for them to have it when the Jews don't even want it. By a 2 to 1 margin Jews are moving out of Israel and back into the west. I cannot say that I blame them in their choice. It really seems to me that if God really cared who was in control of it the Jews wouldn't continue to experience these terrorist attacks that make them so willing to give it back to the Arabs. Who, in all fairness, have been living there for nearly two thousand years.
Personally, I think Christ is going to rule from Moscow when He comes back.

The people in Israel who call themselves "Jews" have whiter skin than I do. Many, if not most of them, are descendants of Khazars; Eastern European converts to Judaism. They are not descendants of Abraham.

It's also interesting to note that in Israel Shepardic Jews (ie those that really are decended from Abraham) often experience mistreatment by their fellow Jews and the state because they tend to look a lot more like the Arabs than the those Jews that are Khazars or those that have become so mixed with Europeans.

Pat Robertson is known for making statements that he thinks cannot be Scripturally "double-checked".
He thinks that his "opinions" are free from Scriptural judgement.

I was told that he made similar-type of statements concerning God causing the 9/11 and the Katrina as a judgement, an expression of his wrath.

Scripturally speaking, God's wrath will never be against believers. Never.
So, if believers died during the 9/11 or Katrina - it was not God's wrath.
Impossible.

And, if it was not God's wrath then Pat is walking a tight-rope in preserving himself against accusations of being a false prophet.

Thanks,
Ed

Well said, Ed!!

Add to that the fact that Pat has called for the assassination of a leader of a sovreign nation, and he has also violated Romans 13. (Of course, he may be right in thinking that Chavez has to go...but that's beside the point...!)

The Holy Land belongs to Christians, if those of Jewish decent would like to repent and accept Christ as their Lord and Saviour and the Son of God born of the Virgin Mary, great, otherwise they have no claim to it.

In 1948 the land was given back to them legally. After 2,000 years the Jews have ownership of the land. This is a direct confirmation of fulfilled prophecy. Once the land is given back to them they will not lose it, that is also part of the prophecy.

WRONG!!!

The land given to them by God stretched from the Nile to the Euphrates.

However, since in the 1948 conquest they didn't steal nearly the amount of land required to fulfill the (so-called) prophecy, it can not be the fulfillment.

Modern day Israel has NOTHING to do with ANY biblical prophecy.

The old covenant is no more, and the new covenant is what Christ brought. As St. Paul tells us, there is neither Jew nor Greek anymore.

I think there are far too many Christians have have taken up an incorrect near worship of the secular state of Israel. Which is in reality just one government among the nations. When you take the birth rate of the Arab population vs that of the Jewish population and combine it with the fact more Jews leave Israel every year that move in the secular state of Israel will probably cease to exist. The Church of Christ, that new Israel and royal priesthood is not affixed to any geographic location, as Christ restored the world and all places are now suitable for prayer.
Christians would do well to worry about the Great Commission and less than faulty interpertations of the book of Revelations.

If what you say above is true, How do you explain these four New Testament verses. ?

Romans 15:8

"For I say that Christ has become a servant to the circumcision on behalf of the truth of God , to confirm the promises made to the fathers."

Galatians 3:14

"in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the gentiles, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."

Galatians 3:29

"And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise."

Hebrews 13:20

"Now the God of Peace who brought up from the dead the Great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus, our Lord."

The following scriptures refer to the Old Covenant as EVERLASTING

Gen. 9;16, 17:13, 17:19
Lev. 24:8
2 Sam. 23:5
1 Chron. 16:17
Psalm 105:10
Isaiah 55:3, 61:8
Jeremiah 32:40
Ezekiel 16:60, 37:26

I think you will have a difficult time proving the New Testament is new in regard to time, that is never existed before.

Also you will have a difficult time proving that the Old Testament no longer exists, because God says it is everlasting.

Study carefully Jeremiah 31: 35, 36, 37

The Church is not the New Israel , Romans 11 says we are grafted in to the Olive tree, a wild olive branch, grafted into the domestic olive tree, meaning the original congregation of God.

The writer to the Hebrews explicitly applies Jeremiah's Covenant (31) to the New Testament believers.

ALL the promises made to the House of Israel and the House of Judah are fulfilled in the NT believers.

PERIOD.

Christ is the new Israel, those in Him are His chosen people. The Jewish people had long ago been displaced from the Palestine, and only artificially replaced by the Allies after WWII. Was this fair to the Palestinian Christians and Muslims who had long occupied that region? I don't think we should fight over that land, but if it belongs to anyone it would be to those who are in Christ--Israel.

There are 1700 Sanhedrin Preist in Israel getting ready for thier Messiah.. traced back to the bloodline.. now, if Jews are not Jews, then who did Hitler kill? Are we like an Iranian who says it never happend and that Sharon needs to die?

So you know more then God, which specifically says what he says about the Jews.. read Luke.. Jesus told the disciples the secret.. the Jews were blinded to his truth.. they received thier punishment from God.. as he promised..

so since 1948-1967 is not the fulfillment, then when is it? Because it comes right before Jesus comes back.. and Jesus has not returned.

what do you think, they will get kicked out and come back again?

come on... oh and who killed Jews before? and how did he know they were Jews if they are not Jews today? that was how many years ago? oh, ok.. ya there are no Jews..

There is no return to Israel prophesied in the Bible. That is a myth invented in the 1800s. Sadly, many many many Christians have been bamboozled into believing it.

Hal Lindsey

They are all false prophets and crooks. Can anyone here name a single thing that Hal Lindsey said was going to happen that actually did happen???

Jesus will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. Period.
