Is Islam is a religion of peace or of war? The question concerns many in our world today. The problem is that the world is concerned with things of the world. Thus the most important question regarding Islam goes unaddressed. The long and the short of it is this; it matters only temporally whether the Muslim is a friend or enemy of humanity.
The Bible teaches us that there is one God, the God of Creation, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (Genesis 1-2; Exodus 3:6; Mark 12:29). The Bible teaches us that just as there is one God there is one Mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). This Mediator is the one and only way, the one and only truth, the one and only life, no one can please God or go to God except by Him (John 14:6).
Since Islam rejects the word of the Bible, especially as it regards the person and work of the Savior and Mediator, since it denies Jesus' deity and crucifixion (4:157, Yusif Ali - 19:34-35, Yusif Ali), the Muslim, in subscribing to the Koran, is deceived and eternally lost to God except he repent and believe the Gospel of God regarding His Son (Mark 1:15; Romans 1:1-5). He can live in this world as a person of peace or jihad but it will not matter. As long as he lives, and dies, as a Muslim, rejecting Christ as God the Son and the crucified, risen Savior, he is eternally condemned to everlasting destruction. His peaceful way will send him to hell just as surely as his ways of war.
