Is there a reason for a meteor enshined in the black cube?I mean Mecca is the holiest city to muslims,A place of great worship,so what's the purpose of the meteor?Pointless?I don't think what Montalban brought up is pointless.Back to the contents of the black cube,I've even heard that muslims refer to it as "The Moonstone".Can you explain please?

OH! I think I've figured out what you're talking about... the black stone that's on the side of the Ka'bah.

We are told that it's from Heaven, and we believe Abraham placed it in the Ka'bah wall when he built it.

I'd never heard meteor or moonstone... I had to think about what he was talking about. Though, I guess, narrations indicating that it fell from Heaven might provide basis for the meteor idea.

Ok, I stand corrected,it's actually called "The Blackstone. My question is why do muslims kiss The Blackstone?

In a hurry... this is from Wiki.

Islam strictly prohibits idolatry. Muslims believe that the Stone's role in hajj is simply representative and symbolic nature, not related to belief in the stone itself as having any special power. A well-known hadith records that, when second Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab (580-644) came to kiss the Stone, he said in front of all assembled: "No doubt, I know that you are a stone and can neither harm anyone nor benefit anyone. Had I not seen Allah's Messenger [Muhammad] kissing you, I would not have kissed you."[21] Most Muslims follow the example of Umar: they pay their respects to the Stone in a spirit of trust in Muhammad, not with any inherent belief in the Stone. This, however, does not indicate their disrespect to the Black Stone, but their belief that harm and benefit are in the hands of God, and nothing else.

Sorry Henry, no goodies for you because you already enjoy the freedoms of a true REPUBLIC.You also should know that I truly don't see a difference between the Nazi's of old and the Radical Islamist of today.Maybe we can discuss this now.How about it Henry?

What, no concessions? Didn't you say the world was busy appeasing us? If so, where are our bloody concessions? Or is it not? I can has you make up your mind?

Or are our freedoms and civil rights we have in "a true republic" a concession, rather than a free, self-evident inalienable right with no strings attached? If so, you truly seem to hate that Constitution your party is supposed to be named after.

I didn't know that you were a Radical Islamist Henry, thank you for the clarification. That explains everything.Might I also remind you that there is a code of coduct that governs a Free Society which is a concept you don't seem to grasp. That is why we have Law Enforcement .

I posted this before, and I know it is getting repetitive, but I just want to keep reminding the readers here that Christians have nothing to hide; they don't need to be evasive, or ignore hard questions about their faith. So far, none of the Muslims here have agreed to renounce violence, or acknowledged that only God should judge sins like blasphemy or disbelieve.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

So as a Christian, I can unequivocally state that I reject any teachings of the Bible and of Jesus that promote murder and terrorism. I can confidently say this because there are no such verses and teachings!

Now I challenge the Muslims posting here to do the same: will you unconditionally agree to reject any verses of the Qur'an that promote murder and terrorism? You keep saying these verses are being misinterpreted- so now is your chance to set the record straight.

Take it one step further: will you here on Christian forums who are Muslims unconditionally agree to reject any and all verses of the Qur'an, or teachings of Muslim clerics, that promote murder, terrorism, punishment of non-Muslims for blasphemy, adultery (including polygamy), lying, hatred towards Jews just because they are Jews, hatred or bias towards anyone that has a different religious belief, etc. etc.

And BTW, I am still waiting for some alternative explanation for all those verses from the Qur'an I posted regarding Islam and its promotion of terrorism. And an explanation of why the vast majority of terrorist attacks since 9/11 have been perpetrated by those who profess to be Muslims.

Christ has already given the explanation: A tree can be judged by its fruits...

A bad tree doesn't provide good fruits and a good tree doesn't provide bad fruits....

Bukhari:V1B2N25 "Allah's Apostle was asked, 'What is the best deed?' He replied, 'To believe in Allah and His Apostle Muhammad.' The questioner then asked, 'What is the next best in goodness?' He replied, 'To participate in Jihad, religious fighting in Allah's Cause.'"

What the hell happened to the things Christ taught?
