Is YEC science? Is is even really a theory?

That's very much a matter of personal philosophical viewpoint over anything else.

I disagree.

It's more a matter of hard-line academics.

In other words, you'd better recognize them "correctly" in zoology class, or you're not going to get it right on the exam.

Though generally, your views on science can take a hike.

They have to.

My views aren't welcome in mainstream academia, which spent too much time and legislation kicking them out.

Yeaaaah. Because academia is terrified of some no-name Baptist from America with his claims of Jacobean English being spoken by Adam, God cleaning the world after the Flood and the flood water going to Neptune, the earth being created 6,000 years ago and looking 14 billion years old, among your other more loony claims and ideas.
Terrified they are.

I don't know what it's like where you live, but over here, one woman in -- I think it was -- 1966 had the Bible and prayer legislated out of school.

We can't even post the Ten Commandments on the courthouse lawn, or others will want equal airtime with the cults.

Fair enough.

What are the first two words in this headline:

Do you disagree with them as well?

First two words are 'missing link', which is not an actual scientific term, being only really used in pop science articles or news headlines, like the one you linked to.

And it reminds me of this skit from Futurama:

Oh, well.

I think "missing link" is a misnomer anyway.

It should be called: "dead end."

You're entitled to your opinion, but since you know next to nothing about science and have no actual intrinsic desire to actually learn anything, that can take a hike.

That's cute.

I see that the genus suddenly changed from "Homo" to "Australiopethicus" (sp?).

Because Australophithecus, while a hominid, isn't in the Homo genus.

You're just showing a lack of understanding.

You blame academia for anything and everything at the drop of a hat, even when it's based on a law from your own country that was created when your country was founded.

Fair enough.

I'll do the hike, because I'm not called to be a scientist.

But if I was, rest assured my standards wouldn't change.

Because Australophithecus, while a hominid, isn't in the Homo genus.

And since "genus" is a word from the Bible ("kind") that science hijacked and watered down to Satan's specifications; and since God clearly said animals would procreate "after their kind;" then that means zoology is doing Satan's work.

And I do hope you realize that I believe those "Homo habilises" and "Homo erectuses" and other Homos are all the same kind, don't you?

Calling them by another species is like calling the Thalidomide victims "Homo thalidomitus" or some other derogatory term.

Now that is definitely a comment that can take a hike.

You blame academia for anything and everything at the drop of a hat, even when it's based on a law from your own country that was created when your country was founded.

There was a time when the Ten Commandments were welcomed ... and placed ... on our courthouse lawns.

Until science eroded our morals, and the tares started demanding equal airtime for false gods.

The next step, of course, was to just take the Ten Commandments down and make it illegal to post them.

Do you think it's just coincidental that other countries -- that DON'T HAVE -- the separation of church and state clause in their constitutions don't have the Ten Commandments posted on their courthouse lawns?

Satan doesn't want to see these Ten Commandments out in public view.

So nations not founded on Christian principles don't need to appeal to an act of Congress to have them removed.
