How dare they continue to build pyramids when they should have been wiped by the flood ...
And how was that trick pulled off, when Egypt came from Mizraim, Noah's great grandson?

It's a very simple trick Genesis is a story not a historical account.
Here is some shocking news for you, the earliest historically attestable person found in the Bible is the 22nd dynasty pharaoh Shoshenq I, whose name is translated into Shishak in the Bible.
There is no historical evidence the familiar cast found in the Old Testament, Abraham, Moses, Noah etc even existed.

No wonder you need a time stamp.

You're projecting academia's missing links into the Bible, then coming up 404.

Just add characters as needed.

Comet hits earth and gives us our oceans.

Asteroid hits earth and takes away our dinosaurs.

Planet hits earth and gives us our moon.

A moon attempts to pass the earth and earth captures it in its gravitational field.

The earth's centrifugal force throws ejecta out and gives us our moon.

The moon forms alongside the earth from its own stardust.

And on and on it goes.
The universe is full of surprises that have become fodder for past, present and future scientists to figure out.

I would say the most popular one in the academic world today is the Big Bang model.
The BB is the most popular but there are several origin theories that are also taken seriously.

Wow -- solid aurum.

Maybe you should read what I was responding to a little closer.

You projecting your own ignorance of the Bible and stop blaming academia for your shortcomings.
You are clearly unaware as you progress through the Old Testament, the Bible becomes more historically attestable through archaeology.
The five Egyptian pharaohs mentioned, the kingdoms of Judah and Israel, the influence of Babylonia and Assyria being examples.

You should be grateful academia has shown the Old Testament is not a complete work of fiction like Genesis or Exodus.

I was responding to what you wrote as an educational jester reminding you that unlike religious beliefs science encourages multiple theories.

Just like the three before you did?

So all you can do is refuse to answer questions and play word games?
You're the one adding words to it, and making it sound different than what it is.

Actually, that would have been Warden of the Storm, in THIS post.

Perhaps you shouldn't have said those threads were for you to take questions on those topics. May I suggest next time, you say that the threads are for you to take questions, provided those questions are ones you think are the right questions to ask, and not any questions which you lead you into a logical quandary regarding your ideas on how it all works.

Thanks anyway, but they'll stand as written.

How much is a free will worth if you do not have the facts or experience to critically think about issues ?

I am sure North Koreans have "free will" on at least some of the issues but they are still the product of their upbringing and state propaganda that shapes their worldview. Undoubtedly many would join up to fight war against US quite willingly because of the lies they have been told.

Is such a free will really free ?

And please think about that objectionaly for 30 seconds before answering. Thx. Also please leave crocodile tears about comparing Eden and North Korea. Concentrate on the logic of it.
The facts and experience are there - and a book was even written for us.
