So there have been no new moon theories in the last 40 years?

Just call me Genghis Khan.
There have been refinements to and variant forms of the giant impact hypothesis, but there have been no radically different hypotheses.

Serious question:

Would you know if, if It was quoted correctly?
Serious answer; I don’t engage in acts of deception of cherry picking documents such as the Bible or a scientific paper in order to twist its meaning so it falls within my world view of events.
You use the Bible as a medium to justify ignorance, bigotry and as a substitute for a lack of critical thinking skills.

But it's okay to engage in acts of cherry picking certain words in the Bible, recusing to the Hebrew language, then bringing it back into English with a different word in the name of scholarship, isn't it?

Ironically this would only be true in your fairytale world which is a product of your deliberate butchering of the Bible where Jacobean English becomes the original and universal language.

In the real world however Jacobean English or Early Modern English has its origins from the late 15th century and the Old Testament was originally written in Hebrew and Aramaic and the first translations were in Greek.
The original New Testament was written in Greek, as Greek was the “universal language” of the Roman Empire.
The first complete translation of the Bible into Middle English was in 1382.
The real world is based on facts not on your fairy tales originating from butchering the Bible.

And how did that happen, seeing as Genesis was written prior to any Hebrew ever existing?

Either that, or it had its origins on Earth in the Garden of Eden, was removed at the Tower of Babel, then made a brief comeback to give us the King James Bible.

This is an interesting hypothesis. However, it is a modification of the giant impact hypothesis, in which two satellites rather than one formed out of the ejecta from the impact and the two coalesced tens of millions of years later; it is not a radically new hypothesis. Also, the paper was published eleven years ago, and it doesn't appear to have attracted much interest since that time.

As the saying goes Houston we have a problem.
In Genesis Noah predates Babel but the name Noah is translated from the Hebrew name “Noach” and the Babylonian word "nukhu" both of which means repose or rest.
Hebrew and Babylonian are classified as Aramaic languages.
According to you Aramaic languages did not exist before Babel so how do you explain Noah’s name with its Aramaic origins turning up in Genesis prior to Babel?

According to Bible literalists there is no problem as Aramaic was the original universal language spoken, not Jacobean English.
Either that, or it had its origins on Earth in the Garden of Eden, was removed at the Tower of Babel, then made a brief comeback to give us the King James Bible.
Once again you are contradicting the Bible.
The language supposedly spoken in the Garden of Eden was not Jacobean English but Adamic and its composition has been debated throughout the centuries by both Jewish and Christian scholars.

Moses compiled the many books written into one book, called Genesis.

That's why it's called "The First Book of Moses."

So what? The novelization of the first Star Wars movie claims it was written by George Lucas, but it was actually written by Alan Dean Foster. Just because a text claims to have been written by a particular person, doesn't mean it was.
