How is condemning fellow man to hell a sin. For surely God would not send all his male children to hell simply for doing a thing of a nature? Or is that not accurate assumption, where is the direction of this advice, you must attempt to stop masturbaition, but no one does stop, or if they do they are married, or if they are married sometimes they dont stop either, all this backward advice does is make the modern man feel shame of doing natural things. Modern man sometimes gets confused when people tell them false doctrines. Masturbation as a sin is one of those tricky situations where you try to tell the modern man that there is no scripture to back up this claim, yet they refuse to listen and say sin, simply sin, simply sin.

I absolutely DO NOT. You appear to be universalist. Is that right? You think that once you have your fire insurance, you are free to do whatever you think is good, because after all, you are "saved"!

How is that universalism at all? I consider myself a universalist of sorts, yet I don't think that way.

have you ever heard the song "God Shaped Hole" by Plumb? it is basically describing the void we all have which the Lord belongs in. When we try to fill the void with something other than God, it never fills the hole because it does not belong. It is our selfish ways and a way we replace the Lord's place in our lives. It is making serving ourselves a habit instead of serving the Lord.

For me, it's not something I focus particularly much on, but I like to debate stuff and I like to follow threads for a long time.

The old nature still lives in your flesh, when you were born-again, you received a new nature, but you have not lost the old one, you are just no longer a slave to it, like you were before. You are now dual-natured and the two natures are always at war with each other. That's why temptation is such a big obstacle and stumbling block for Christians. If we had just one nature, that of Christ we would not be tempted by anything or any situation.
