and what is the book about?

Thanks

The Didache is a first Century Syrian manual for how to run a church, and it also offers descriptions on how to live a Christian life. It is usually said that it was written around AD 60, which gives a great witness to the antiquity of the Gospels, as it quotes many times from the Gospels (for example, it has the Lords Prayer, and commands believers to pray it three times a day). It also contains Eucharistic prayers, and some insight on how the earliest Christian serviced were conducted.

It is not a doctrinal statement, so there are no references to Christ's divinity, resurrection, or any other beliefs that were probably standard for Christians at that time.

Here is a place where you can read the full text of the Didache online.

That was one of the stupidest videos i ever listened to. First off the Didache also called the 'teachings of the Apostles' is a widely read book. Even protestant seminaries use it. There isnt a book on the pre-Nicene Fathers in any language that wont include it. The book was written around 100 A.D. and has always been widely read within christian circles. Oh and the Didache is one of the earliest references of the Trinity. It is the second earliest source after Matthew to mention baptism in each name of the trinity, more importantly its specific that you baptise into each name, meaning triple immersion. Oh and the book seen in the video is actually modern, thats why he didnt need gloves and why its not in a museum.

Now the premise may have made sense, if instead of saying Paul corrupted christianity, they argued that the Alexandrian school with its emphasis on the divinity of Christ won out over the Antiochan school and the Edessa school which emphasized Christ's humanity. But i doubt the amateurs that created the video even know what im talking about. Cant blame them, the varsity is 10 notches higher than the JV team their playing on.
