I learned about aerial perspective in art class in 1966. But you were trying to pull the wool over everyone's eyes by claiming that it was "jus like" (sic) the effect of a ship disappearing on the horizon. You just didn't expect anyone to call you on it.

No, we don't have to even leave objects on the earth's surface to prove that the planet is spheroidal. As I said, the ancient Greeks proved it 2300 years ago...and the early Church believed it, too.

Right i was really trying to deceive people by stating that what is being seen is a result of visual perspective instead of the curve lie science feeds humanity.

Right, pagan greeks really knew about God's creation, even more so than God.

I wonder if They knew God placed the two great lights (sun and moon) and stars He created in the raqia, that is separating two bodies of water. And that in this raqia where the sun, moon and stars are located, is the location also, where birds fly across the face of the raqia.

Or that God has set the earth on foundation's so that it can not be moved.

Or that God has laid out the earth above the waters

That looks suspicious alright. There's no doubt this can be faked. The question is, is everyone who gets invited to go on one of these things, going to lie about their experience? And then the there's the next waves of passengers who will be paying a hefty fee to take a ride. Many private citizens have seen the curvature of the earth in high altitude commercial planes (the Concord flew at 60,00 feet for example).

Well, according to the mainstream boffins like de Grasse Tyson, 60k feet is not enough to see any curvature. I suggest that relying on naked eyes is not the most accurate scientific method, even if they are of the ultra-zoom variety.

And then there's all the non-government non-NASA private citizens who have gone into space via Blue Origin who have seen a spherical earth.

Oh Branson's mates, and the urchin Amazon guy, don't they just ooze credibility?

And that number is going increase greatly as buying a ticket for a short space flight becomes available.

I'm not saying I thought it was an alien space craft. But what else besides a satellite could it be? It definitely wasn't a weather balloon. It had the shape of a satellite. I had 20/20 plus vision at the time via eyeglasses. My coworker was just as bewildered by what we were seeing at first too. After looking at it hovering in the sky for a while I said, "it must be a satellite".

My six years older brother was a total space geek. He had lunar module models and diagrams etc. So my knowledge regarding its construction is a bit deeper than the average person. Plus with him practically being a genius when it comes to aeronautics and such, he would have picked up on it being structurally incapable of doing its job if that had been the case.

Are you thinking the LM and satellite you posted a picture of look flimsy because it looks like they're made of foil? That's just mylar wrapped around them to provide thermal insulation. Flimsy is the right euphemism. You might find a high res image of that lunar lander and zoom in close on all the parts, the joins and so on. It's really the classic B-grade movie set piece.

The bottom of the boat isn’t getting any smaller than the top of it. If you can still see the top of the boat then you should still be able to see the bottom of it. The reason you can’t see the bottom of it is because the water is blocking your view. Like I said from an elevated position in order for the water to block your view of the bottom of the boat it has to be high enough to break the line of sight so if your 50 feet higher than the water and you can only see the top half of the boat then that would mean that the water would have to be 25 feet or higher than sea level.

We are in the age of satan and he does deceive the whole world. So really what is true besides what is found in The Bible. I have found out really how trusting of man people are, in many cases even more so than The Bible. They would rather adjust The Bible to fit science than to have to say, hey may be this is a lie of government, science or man.

I have stated before, that water would have to to be perfectly still/calm for it to be absolutely flat. When you speak of a boat on water you are not seeing a absolutely calm flat surface. Especially if this is in an ocean or even a large lake water has movement

Well for one he is a liar and for another he deceives the whole world. What better way to work a deception than to attack The Bible and bring into question the very first chapter of The Bible.

By offering up a counter fit creation, other than what is seen and described in The Bible. In away i see it similar as to the coming deception that satan will offer up in the tribulation the counter fit unholy trinity.

I often wonder how many atheist have been birthed when they see what The Bible describes as creation compared to sciences version. And now evolution is thrown into the creation deception (what the last 200+ years).

Also if the sun is close to the earth, why doesn't it appear larger at high altitude? Is there a flat earth calculation for how far above the earth the sun and moon are?

Sorry bro, I'm just not seeing it so far. I looked at 15 verses that some say the earth is flat, but none of them gave me pause. Unlike UR verses for instance.

There is no statement in scriptures which says that the earth is flat. The closest that we get to such a comprehensive description ... is that the earth is like a circle ...
