So much for heredity and environment, at least the environment part. He was with the Son of God and saw all the miraclesCorrect.
The same opportunities were given to Judas as the rest, he saw all the miracles and signs that The Father performed through Jesus, he just decided that he liked money more.

-Now the question remains, did Judas at some point after his betrayal and before his death. Did he ever believe in Jesus?
How does one betray Jesus?
Tools-Now the question remains, did Judas at some point after his betrayal and before his death. Did he ever believe in Jesus for God's free gift of Eternal Life?

Mat 27:3 - Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
Judas betrayed Jesus this way. Jesus is not physically alive on earth at this very moment in time, so a person can not betray Jesus now. Like Judas betrayed Jesus.Well that verse states Judas repented, but it does not say that Judas believed in Jesus for Eternal Life. So there is still that question ?
It may have been too late because scripture says it would have been good for him if he had not been born
Amen! Salvation is not probation. There is no "temporary" spiritual rebirth (regeneration), just as there is no "temporary" physical birth.
You can't be born and then "unborn" either physically or spiritually.
Uncle Henry apostasized because he did not have true (saving) faith, rather he had counterfeit faith (Mt 7:22-23).
Looks like you're trying to assert a personal belief.
I actually prefer the terms, "eternal security of the believer" or "preservation of the saints" over OSAS because of all the negative connotations that typically get attached to it by those who oppose OSAS, like, "a license to sin" or "a license for immortality" etc..
Act 1:17 For he was numbered among us, and received his portion in this ministry.
Act 1:20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be made desolate, And let no man dwell therein: and, His office let another take.
Act 1:25 to take the place in this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place.
Take these passages for what you will, but I don't see any statement in our bible that Judas was an outsider and not one of the disciples. He was hand chosen by Jesus just like the rest.
I'm not going to argue with personal opinions. Either a person understands that betrayal exists in Christianity,...... or they refuse to acknowledge it.
-So where in the verses you are referencing state Judas believed in Jesus for God's free gift of Eternal Life
There are genuine Christians, and there are "nominal" or pseudo.Christians. There are genuine believers and there are make believers and it's not hard to find them mixed together throughout scripture, in various churches today, and on various Christian forum sites.-Yes churches are full of followers, but not many who have believed in Jesus for Eternal Life. These two are not the same.
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and confined is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
